Tulane put up some great numbers. I think they are better

It's hard to prepare and practice for a triple option team because scout team isn't proficient enough executing it. This is Tulane's first year running it. Thank goodness we don't have to play Navy this year.

No. That QB was horrible. Thier OC should have been fired after the game as well. They were killing us up the middle and the option to the outside, and then for some strange reason they just started trying to throw the ball. Then, once they were down and out then they went back to running the ball when ghey shoukd have been throwing it. Glad thier staff couldn't see the big picture because it bailed us out.

We've benefitted in other games, too, from bad coaching or at least by coaching decisions focussed on developing their teams long-term than with beating us.

Yes, we outcoached them for sure. Now let's continue that trend.

Daniels alluded the later portion of your statement, precisely.

They knew/know they aren't bowling and simply were trying to set a foundation for their future.
Sort of like GOL did last year by developing a QB who then transferred.

Yeah I couldn't figure that out. They were easily getting 3-4 yards per down running....and we couldn't stop it. Several 4th downs they should have gone for it...etc
