We last played ECU 2 years ago tomorrow which reminded me that 2 years ago today, someone in this community shared that the end of their battle with cancer was imminent and they weren’t sure if they’d still be around to cheer on UCF during the game. It was their only post (they created a new username to make it).
I’m not sure if it’s ever been confirmed that the poster did pass away but they are in my thoughts today.
It’s not easy being a fan right now especially after all of the success we enjoyed before, but those of us that are able to let a game ruin our day are indeed fortunate.
