UCF has now beat two teams with winning records

Also:
Pitt beat #23 Virginia and #19 Syracuse;
Temple beat #20 Cincy;
UCF beat both Pitt and Temple.

But......let's see.
1. Virginia and Syracuse are overrated
2. Virgina wasn't motivated tonight
3. Cincy is not any good
4. Etc., etc.,

Can't wait to hear about what their excuses are this week. 'Cause I will not watch that garbage.

Lol. Any other conference except the SEC where a 4-4 team beats a 6-2 team means the conference sucks. In the SEC it shows how tough the conference is.

3 of Pitts 4 losses were to ND, Penn State and us. That’s a pretty tough OOC schedule. They could be a decent ACC team.

Dont forget we also beat a tough and well rested bye week a few weeks ago, though the pundits may claim the bye week wasnt motivated.

They did. Full consideration. They determined that bye week was much more motivated for P5 opponents.

Then promptly barfed up some quality loss BS about Purdue, Kentucky, Texas being better than G5 wins.

The problem is that people have been conditioned to accept the SEC has the end all be all conference. ESPN and CBS pushing it hard. And teams from the SEC definitely get extra points and will always get the benefit of the doubt. In reality its a very good conference and like every other conference it has its top teams, average, and bottom feeders. Look at this link below. It is a compilation of the SEC versus other conferences for the past 20 years. There are 3 teams which did the majority of the winning. LSU-Georgia-Alabama. The rest are at 500, a little above, or below.

One of the arguments is that the SEC has won the majority of the football titles, 10 in the past 15 years. Alabama with 5, LSU and Florida with 2, Auburn 1. Absolutely impressive. The New England Patriots have won 5 Super Bowls since 2002. Is the AFC East the best division in the NFL?

And up until today's LSU game Alabama has only played 2 teams with a winning record. Texas A&M (5-3) and Ole Miss (5-3). Then take a look at number 2 ranked Clemson's best wins Texas A&M (28-26) Syracuse (27- 23), NC State (41-7) all the other wins were Georgia Southern (Sun Belt), Georgia Tech (4-4), Wake Forest (4-4), FSU (4-4) and Furman (3-4). No one has convinced me that UCF couldn't beat Clemson and below. Alabama would be tougher because so far they have won easily.
The only way to determine who the best really is..is with a real playoff just like division 2 uses. Tie in the current big bowls and keep the small bowls for invitational/runner up type games.
