I disagree with this. A regular season title in the B12 means a lot more than a tournament championship. If you're finishing ahead of the field in the best conference in the country, then that means your RPI/Net/SOS, etc. is strong enough to get a 1-2 seed (regardless of the conference tournament outcome). You could even make an argument that conference tournaments hurt the top/elite teams more than they help (injuries, extra games, extra minutes, etc.).Regular season only guarantees you NIT bid and 1 seed in B12 Tourney. B12 Tourney is more important. You want to be playing best basketball in March. Not necessarily in January.
I'm actually okay with all the perimeter shooting. UCF struggled mightily finishing in the paint and at the rim against Kansas last game. They just can't compete with them athletically/physically. And they couldn't' really create anything off the dribble either, Kansas easily stayed in front of our ball-handlers.Ok, enough of the 3 point shooting. Hot early but gone cold.
11.5 at tip-offbetting app has Kansas as 5.5 favorites now to win this game.
there are like 300 D1 schools and he played in the A10 last year and averaged 8.5 pts, of course he's a D1 player. he's just not a power conference player.Johnson and Hall can't do it alone. Need some role players to step up and provided any kind of value. Jocius is just awful. What a waste of a scholarship. He's unplayable, the poor kid is just not a D1 player. He can't move, can't rebound, slowest reaction to the ball I've ever seen. So frustrating...
And Mikey Williams, yikes. Where is JJ Taylor?
The big 12 champion is really only important if you’re gonna miss the tournament from the regular season resume. anybody who is over 500 in the big 12 will get in.I disagree with this. Conference tournaments help non-P5 schools and bubble teams, but not a team that would finish at the top of the B12.
They played well. Hate to blame it on the refs but am leaning that way. Some horrible calls in the last minute.piss down our legs every close game
If u watched u would see they got screwed U r right it’s in the loss side but wow did they get screwed.sounded like a great game...enough ref complaining, a loss is a loss unfortunately.
You still know nothing Jon SnowKU will win by 40. Self is going to have them on their game after blowing that game against Houston. UCF will be down by 30 at halftime.
it looked like the one ref who made the call politicked for the call, left the area n let the other two clowns confirm it so it didn’t look so obvious, and look like they all agreed on it. Embarrassing.Thiam got mugged down there by two kansas players but he picked up the foul. That was ridiculous. Then they had to review and the ref that made the call walked away from it. He knew he blew that call.
We could go back to the ASUN.Is there any recourse here regarding such a poorly called game?
That was one of a couple at the end of the game that was definitely home cookin'. When Johnny goes ballistic you know there was a missed call.....Thiam got mugged down there by two kansas players but he picked up the foul. That was ridiculous.
