UCF QB McKenzie Milton's journey, in his own words: 'I got hurt for a reason'

Damn. I didn’t know they had to cut an artery out of his good leg to save his other one. I like the ending, kid doesn’t give up. I’d take a KZ coach any day!

Just imagine if he didn’t go to Tampa General Hospital

Nope doesn’t sound like it was a dire situation at all.

No.. we all thought it was just a wonderful situation.

At the time everyone was guessing. Facts are coming out how much later??

Which artery was severed? Which one was used from the other leg? What were the consequences of not transferring the artery?

What percentage of people lose their leg if it isn’t transferred?

What’s the timeframe that it has to be performed in?

I think poolside said I was wrong when I said it’s a dire situation. I was basing that on everyone else that had the same thing happen.

That’s cool then. You could only base things at the time on the information that is provided.
Sounds like a freakish bad injury. If MM even takes one snap again, that would be so awesome.

Where’s poolside been by the way? Lol

He pretty much only comments on recruiting and football stuff. I can’t pretend I know the difference between any of the recruits until I see them in our uniform.

I’m not a recruiting specialist either. A lot of people follow it closely.

They are still basing info off of other peoples opinions. It's nice getting a kid that is wanted by all the big schools but it seems the underdogs seem to do better for us.

I didn’t read article but he said if he writes his book now it would be to play in NFL for 10 years and then come back to coach us. Sounds like even if he gets cleared to play he will immediately declare for NFL.

Sounds like we may have our future coach. A big difference from the transfer talk after 2016. UCF is a great place to play and grow as a person

Maybe Kevin Smith as well?

Not sure yet what his playing career future holds.

No he will have to make a comeback first and prove he is back. I know this, it will not be for lack of hard work. This guy is an inspiration
