UCF quarterback Dylan Rizk intends to enter transfer portal

I am so happy for him. A UCF degree is good. Mine has served me well. However, a Stanford degree is outstanding. It will open many doors for him in his future. He must be an excellent student. A Stanford scholarship is a valuable thing. It costs almost $100,000 a year to go there and they have a very low acceptance rate.
Is he going to Stanford ? Good for him. I was betting on FAU. South Fl kid Rooting for him

His roommate at UCF saud he was always studying. I had a feeling he could go to Stanford, Vandy or Ga Tech.

On Saturday , October 18 FSU travels to Stanford for a little football. A few story lines there I tell you. I like the young man , he has a great attitude and heart. While I am an FSU alum as well, I wouldn't mind Rizk showing ole Gus a thing or two.

when Western Kentucky is the other choice when you want to get away from home this is an easy choice.

Hopefully Stanford can be good again.

It's funny how kind we are to Risk for transferring, basically because he's not that good at the P4 level. But when a player like Dillion transfers, fans tend to be pissed.
100%, couldn’t agree with you more here. Our fanbase acted like complete dorks when Gabriel left, it was embarrassing.

Now it’s just the norm in college athletics, but people took it too personal then. And in retrospect, who could blame him running away from that fraud Grandpa Boom as fast as he possibly could?

Good point. Grandpa BOOM! Good one! :)

A lot of people defended Malzahn the first few years. Calling out players like Cam Goode, Tatum Bethune, Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste as players who left as those who probably would lose their spots anyways. Everything wrong with the team was Heupel's fault.

It's funny cause 90% of the fanbase did not like Malzahn hire, players like Gabriel were upfront of not being happy. Gabriel stuck it out until he was injured, fans bought into Malzahn's coach speak. Then the hire played out exactly as people thought it would when it was first announced.

You guys are rewriting history on the main reason fans got upset at DG … he was promoting his apparel line and socks to UCF fans less than 24 hours before announcing his intent to transfer.
So what? lol

I would never buy socks with another person’s face/name/likeness on them anyway, so it made no difference to me.

Buyer beware I guess…

It was widely rumored he was no longer participating with the team, but not officially announced until after season ended. I believe that was Malzahn telling him not to announce until after the season.

I didn’t and wouldn’t buy either but when he did that it probably led to some fans buying to support him financially thinking he is staying at UCF then the next day he enters the portal. It was a slimy move.

Gus offense getting Gabriel hurt didn’t help things. The high school offense was not appealing to anybody of any talent at the quarterback position. Even without the NIL, I would’ve transferred out of Ucf with Gus.

What good QB, who could pass, wouldn't?
