UCF Transfer Portal Updates

Magwood just hit the portal.....even though he was our most productive returning WR (that isn't saying much), not much of a loss but still surprising. Wonder what Frost/Beckton told him.

Making it a career and are making it harder for anyone to build a team with all the transfer madness. It would be nice to not have so much uncertainty. We had players quitting the team before we reached midseason, for crying out loud. Wouldn’t be surprised if we get more of that regardless of who our head coach is. Same for every other program out there except for the small few holding the biggest money pots.

When I was in college, you wanted to transfer you had to sit out a year. I understand the argument that coaches can move without any penalty, maybe we should address that as opposed to give in to the alleged student/athletes.

Bro, you don’t get a COVID year if you weren’t in college during COVID lol. It’s a simple google search.

He played in more than four games in all four years (‘21-‘’24).
Already posted the video of him applying for another year. He’s probably going to say he was hurt for a few games but Ohio State begged him to play. He should have sat out. There must be other loopholes as guys are getting 8 years. The Miami TE was crying because he spent most of a decade in college and has to get a real job.

was he the QB when UCF played them early in the season?

We are running out of transfer options, looks like Rizk it is and hopefully bringing in a HS recruit in February.
No, we played against their regular starter Hoover.

There are a few guys still left that would upgrade our QB room, but our lack of funds is killing us compared to our conference mates.

There won't be much to choose from in the Spring NSD......we probably stand a better chance in the Spring portal when guys realize they don't fit into their teams plans. But then our lack of funds will handcuff us yet again.

No, Hoover is the man. He’s coming back next year for TCU as well.

Set the all-time TCU single-season passing record this past year. His 400+ yards and 4TDs against us were both season-highs for Hoover.

Perfect description of Malzahn, So stupid he spells his first name with an H.

Kavan Call commits to East Tenn St for some reason.....big error on his part, we might have taken him back under the new staff.
Seems like a big-time downgrade. Maybe he was informed that he wasn’t in their plans. I can’t see making that move unless Ucf was not a real option for him. Imo

Would this QB from SU be another good pickup?
They already got a LSU guy to fill his gap and he might want to stay another year in college.
These are the types of QBs hanging out there for last minute transfer portals.

He’s out of eligibility. Lol, if he had another year the demand for him would be great…zero chance he would go to UCF.

He could get (at least) $2M and even if UCF had the coin…a top QB is not going there to play for Frost and Milton. I am just being honest and not trolling.

Zero viable QB’s are going to sign up to be coached by a dude that has never coached, (even less) developed anyone. Frost needs to rehab his image and Milton needs to build a resume.

Since a couple of these guys have good size, I assume they might be made LBs
Or WR's? We need speed in the slot and on the outside....I wonder if any of these guys are fast and can make that switch? Many probably played both ways in HS. Right now, compared to the rest of the roster, it looks crowded in the DB room.

Getting athletes. I don’t see this guy as a wr but we r getting more athletic in a position of need

I would not be surprised to see our quarterback from FAU making a switch to the slot. You see that quite often in quarterbacks who are athletic.

Frost was a qb in college safety in the pros if I recall.
