UCF vs FIU Game thread

Hamilton finally got a decent run. He's so quick to the line, but too quick to the hole.

Hamilton likely done for the night. Perhaps we'll see some of UCF's leading rusher from last year (noticed he was one of the co-captains).

Wilson is just amazing! There was nothing there. He used every possible dimension of running on that TD.

When CUSA is your bread and butter, you have to overhype that game. It's like P5 teams seeing a commercial for UCF v USF. They say who cares?

No I agree with you, but I've just never seen our commercials so...dramatized. It's like watching those "on the next episode of xxx!!!"

Like, who randomly sees that commercial and says to themselves "oh man, that looks pretty good...I might want to tune in to that rivalry game next week."

We're playing a terrible team, but this is definitely the game Milton needed to get some good experience under his belt. Glad to see that there were no fumbled exchanges so far. He's done a very good job extending plays and hasn't been afraid to go downfield with the ball. He just needs to work on those high balls he keeps throwing and know when to throw away the ball when nothing is there.

Just saw the halftime interview with Frost.

When you see the FIU stadium dirt empty like that, do you ever think Frost is like "damn, this is some little league $***." I mean, he was a top QB coach at Oregon. That place is packed, and most of the Pac12 probably pulls in good attendance numbers.

And I'm not knocking UCF. I think we pull very decent attendance numbers but our opponents suck. When we go to our conference opponent's stadiums, it's gonna be empty AF. Tulsa = empty, Temple (in the big ass Eagle stadium) = empty, etc. Especially someone like Frost. He played and was a champion at fancy Nebraska. It must be kind of depressing for him.

I get it, you want to be a head coach, you need to take whatever is out there but still. But it's like moving from a fun city like LA or NY to Oklahoma City or something lame like that (no offense to anyone from OKC).

I think FIU's attendance is the last thing Frost is worried about.
