USF has reached out to the Pac 12

At this point USF would apply for membership to the Japanese Vietnam Conference (JVC).
They just got an invite from the supreme leader Kim Jong Un himself
Cannot blame USF.
It will be a huge selling point for the football program to be able to win 2 games and make the conference championship game in the new PAC-4 with Stanford, California, and Washington State.
They would be dumb not to reach out. If the Pac can lose only 2 or 4 it will have to rebuild as best as it can.
USF, Tulane and SMU from AAC makes sense academically, Then bring in SD state, Fresno, and maybe AF, Col State and UNLV. Pac will still own A5 status, and pretty much tear up the heart of MWC/AAC

PAC-12 will just backfill the 4-6 teams they lose with G5s (USC, UCLA, CO, +1-3more)

Wow everyone wants out of the AAC. Not sure how long the PAC will be considered P5, but it's the only move left for the COWS. Look who they up against their chances have to be low. I could see the PAC taking 4 teams.
There is nothing on the books to remove the antimony voting status. So, my understanding is yes, the PAC if it survives will keep it. If they can get a deal in the low teens, they will be double the AAC deal and 3x the MWC. and basically, would become the tweener lesser of P conference that AAC tried to become.
The AAC would lose even more stature and have a couple less schools making 7 mil on tv. The MWC would also lose some of its top schools.

After this tweet came out, their superstar AD said they hadn't applied yet.
So if the goal of the BIG12 is coast to coast for all of the time zones and in turn more value to TV partners…..The Pac12 SHOULD become a national conference!! They should takes SMU, Tulane, So Flo and Memphis. Desperate times desperate measures for P12….TG we are IN THE B12!!!
As a Pitt fan and also a fan of the original Big East, I hope South Florida wallows in misery until the end of time.
USF should join the PAC12. Right after the Big12 takes the schools they want and the Big10 takes the schools they want. Once it is left with Cal, a team in Oregon, and 2 teams in Washington. They could add Boise, SDSU, UNLV, SMU, UTEP, UTSA, Memphis, and USF.

When FSU pays their $300m buyout to enter into the B1G and ACC falls apart, Big 12 will accumulate ACC schools, creating B12 West and East divisions, eventually shorting to Big West and Big East*Ok, I sucked up to you guys. Give us a Big 12 spot now…
As per many reports I've read usf is so far down the possible list the PAC would have to lose every member, then lose every new member for them to be considered. Boise, which has so many negatives, has a better chance. Did FAU apply?
