It actually doesn’t matter what we think. The playoff committee says B12 and ACC suck. They want 9 of the 12 teams to be from SEC and B1G. B1G isn’t really good. That’s why Indiana is looking great. The usuals are having down years. Michigan missing Harbaugh bad. Penn st is always second tier. Wiscy and Michigan St aren’t great. I don’t get thinking B 10 is elite. They aren’t.
College Football (overall) is having a down year, and that's putting it kindly. But programs like Indiana have helped identify that success starts with the HC who develops a "culture" of winning. And that starts with a HC who is focused on that. Cignetti (IU HC) dedicates a substantial window of weekly practice time to red zone situations. There’s some scheme involved, new wrinkles on old concepts to keep the offense fresh in front of a defense that’s had time to review prior film. And there’s the less tangible side of it — building a rapport between players and a determination that drives already so close to the end zone should always end there. Does Gus do any of these things? Unfortunately, after his years here, the obvious answer is no....
Gus and LSU coach Kelly, should both be looking for new teams after this year. Both are old school and can’t adapt.

I don’t care about the B12 standings. Big 10 is not good and Indiana and Penn St are overrated because of that. No one will tune in for Indiana. Penn St hasn’t been great in a long time. Long time.
Real possibility at the very least B12 champion will be lower ranked than at least MWC or AAC and maybe both.

Yeah 4 of our 6 Ls are to now ranked top 25 teams. UF has also turned it around being competitive with GA and beating LSU.per Sagarin we are the second best 4-6 team in the country behind Kansas.
17.5 is what I saw earlier. That's why I thought his statement of probably was a little outlandish. Army is really the only threat to Big 12 not getting into the playoff at all. Even if they somehow pull off the upset. If Boise loses another game they aren't getting in over the Big 12 Champ.
14.5 now. Boise state losing is unlikely. Army winning vs Notre Dame also unlikely, but possible.
Less likely both win their conference if either of them do.
Boise State losing to a UNLV or Colorado State in the conference championship game is more likely than Army beating Notre Dame and running the table.
I don’t disagree. Boise current odds to make the playoff are -250. Army odds to beat Notre dame are +500. So not a great chance to happen, but with the service academies you never know.
Undefeated army or 1 loss Boise gets in over a 3 loss Big 12 champ all day.
Being objective that the conference isn’t good this season isn’t being negative, not every fan is a blind homer about their team and especially their conferenceI'd have to say you guys are not true football fans if say Big12 is not good. I'm the opposite. I'm glad Ole Miss beat Georgia. I'm glad there is new guard in the Big 12 and SMU in the ACC killing it. Army great! Even Navy. Turn off your negative attitude and just watch the games as entertainment and stop being so judgemental.
Plus, the Dolphins are in a two game winning streak. (Unrelated, but watching football is fun in my opinion and if it just brings you down to being a negative nancy, go watch netflix reruns of the Tyson fight).

I think the Big 12 will do VERY, VERY WELL in its bowl games. Just because there isn't a bellcoe marque team doesn't mean the league as a whole is bad.
