At least in golf, the ball is moving forward the entire round, instead of continuously going backwards like soccer.

Or going practically no where, between commercial breaks, most of the time in football.

I could go on...but hey, 4 hours of boring ass baseball, and 4 hours of commercials and 30 minutes of football is better amirite? At least soccer is 2 hours long (inc halftime) and nearly always 2 hours long.
