Let me break it down so a fake MIchigan fan can understand.
You've been playing football for 131 years. Because of that, when the BCS started, you should have been better equipped to win more bowl games. UCF has only been playing football for 37 years. Because of that, we should not have the capabilities to compete with programs that have more infrastructure, funding and resources (such as Michigan).
DESPITE those glaring deficiencies, UCF STILL has the same number of BCS championships as Michigan.

This is so great! We come back from folks saying "nice things" about us to being worthy of people's contempt again. First they hate you, then they invite you into their conference. They need us for recruiting. Michigan has only 2 starters from their own state, despite being a sizable state. Might as well call their team the University of non-Michigan.
