The Athletic: 15 Months after placing first sports bet, man loses $110,000

Crazy story how legalized sports betting in AZ helped turn this man into an addict, who averaged 11 bets per day and took out personal loans and home equity loans to cover his losses.

Don't wait till you hit rock bottom to get help.

FIRE Terry Mohajir NOW!!!

This will be the 1st Step in a long process, but this must start now.

The fact that he gave his compadre an extension is criminal. He has set this once proud program back into obscurity. We have NO identity anymore.

NIL Collective- Conserve your $$$ and rebuild the war chest. It's time to show who holds sway in this program. I'm done with giving $$$ to this program until our demands are met. ✌️

OT: Vegetative screening replacement ideas

Milton didn't hit my house very hard, but what it did do was knock over a crape myrtle and an avocado tree in my backyard. These weren't huge trees, but they did provide some visual screening between my and my neighbor's house. It's an inward corner lot, and because the house next door is a bit too large for the lot, it sits only about 10 feet off the line that separates our two properties. There's a 5' wooden fence on the property, but the neighbors have a two-story house and I only have a single-story, and to top it off, their house is a couple of feet higher in elevation than mine.

I'm looking for suggestions on what to plant that could provide some visual separation, as they now have an unabated view of my back patio, pool deck, and living room. There's also a big elm tree on the property line, so it needs to be stuff that can thrive in a somewhat shady environment.

UCF Heisman Candidate

Is right now on Oregon roster because we didnt hire Lebby.

Naysayers will say what they want that he might not be here but his loyalty to Jeff was unmatched and Brandon can vouch for that.

Then youll point to the success of Jeff at Miss State year one, but lets remember QB’s can make a coaches career (See Travis, Jordan and Milton, Mackenzie).

Championships would have been won at the G5 and P5 level for 3 years. WR and OL would have lined up to play here and the NIL $ would have poured in.

Unfortunately he wasn’t given a far shake because thats what the players, alumni, and some big boosters wanted and the new regime wanted to make their own mark…

UCF’s Starting QB

Which QB should we focus on and start for the rest of the year?

  • KJ Jefferson

    Votes: 2 1.5%
  • EJ Colson

    Votes: 21 16.0%
  • Jacurri Brown

    Votes: 100 76.3%
  • Dylan Rizk

    Votes: 3 2.3%
  • Brock Hansel

    Votes: 4 3.1%
  • Riley Trujillo

    Votes: 1 0.8%

With the changes in QB, and the carousel that has become the QB Position, I thought I’d ask who we should be focusing on to give us the best chance to win, and prepare for the future.

Which one of you guys did this?

I was reading the Wikipedia entry in the wild cat offense and this paragraph is in there…

UCF uses a wildcat formation they call the "wild knight."[15] It was originally intended to be run by Rob Calabrese, even after he lost the starting job in 2010 to Jeff Godfrey, but he tore his ACL using the play to score a rushing touchdown against Marshall on October 13, 2010.[16] At the time, most agreed that Calabrese was effective at running the wild knight formation.[15]

How did I not know this existed?

***UCF PFF Offense Player Grades - 19-13 loss to Cincinnati***

Rivals has continued its partnership with Pro Football Focus (PFF) which grants me access to their comprehensive analytics and statistical tools.

After each game, two separate analysts grade every player on each play of the game and the two totals are averaged out. Obviously no subjective ranking system is perfect, but I am finding that my real world impressions of a player in a certain game usually reflects the PFF grade.

PFF Grading Scale

90 and above - Elite
80 to 89 - Great
70 to 79 - Good
60 to 69 - Average to Above Average
50 - 59 - Below Average
49 and below - Poor

Team Offensive Grade (by game)

New Hampshire - 68.4
Sam Houston - 88.3
@ TCU - 79.3
Colorado - 62.9
@ Florida - 66.5
Cincinnati - 60.0

Overall, the worst offensive grade of the year. A perfect "average" if you will.

Overall Offensive Player Grades (Snaps Played)

WR Jacoby Jones (3) - 80.5
QB Jacurri Brown (51) - 80.3

Bredell Richardson

Did I make a new thread to promote Bredell and also my tweet.....you are dam right lol. On a serious note though, it takes 5 seconds....drop his channel a sub and hell maybe this is something we need to start doing with the kids interested in making content....Save us a little NIL money while making them income through YT (if we can get them big enough).

UCF Fast & Slow - Cincy Bearcats Edition

I know some of you may not feel this same way but I actually feel better after this loss then I did after Colorado and after UF. Don’t get me wrong, I feel terrible, and this was a bad loss at home to a team that didn’t show me much outside of their big DT #2. I thought man to man we were the more talented team and it was a very winnable game that hurts to lose BUT the fact we made a move at QB and the guy I thought should have been starting all season played well made me feel optimistic that we have something to build on vs. what seemed like a sunk cost with KJ. This same outcome with KJ at QB and I am probably in a complete tailspin right now. I am going to talk about the QB situation here first and then get into the Fast & Slow since I think the biggest news from this game was the QB change…
