OT: Dinner Recommendations

My friend from Maryland is in Orlando this week over by the UCF area. He is looking to take his in-laws to dinner somewhere Friday, something relatively nice that is not crazy on the wallet. He is about to be excessed from his government job so being budget conscience but still wants to treat his family. I have not been back to Orlando in nearly ten years so I said I would ask the experts here. Thanks in advance!

What would it take to get you back on the TMo train?

Got me thinking after reading the cow stadium upgrade thread. TMo taking strays in that thread shows how low his approval rating is. I'd say it's lower than if Trump and Biden ran on the same ticket.

TDT money and getting Gus to leave money on the table are probably his biggest wins to date. Outside of that he's taken the collective in house setting our NIL back, made questionable hires, allowed game day environment to slip (concessions closing down, basketball seats at end of court, or Franki Valli), signed 2-1 with UF, season ticket holder debacle, and more. He's taking way more L's than W's in his time here.

What would it take for you to get back in support of him? Is it possible?

Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark receives 3-year contract extension through 2030

IRVING, Texas (AP) — Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark has received a three-year contract extension through 2030, the conference confirmed Tuesday.

ESPN first reported the Big 12 board of directors agreed to extend his original five-year contract, which was set to expire in 2027.

Yormark was CEO of Jay-Z's Roc Nation entertainment company when he was hired to take over for Bob Bowlsby in 2022.

Yormark landed a six-year television contract extension with ESPN and Fox valued at $2.28 billion and shepherded the move of Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State and Utah to the Big 12 following the disintegration of the Pac-12. He also oversaw the Bowlsby-negotiated move of BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and UCF into the Big 12 in 2023.

“I would like to thank the Board for their continued support," Yormark said in a statement. "We have made great progress over the last three years, and our best days are ahead. I am thrilled to continue to work alongside our member schools as we grow and strengthen the Big 12 into a Conference that is innovative and prepared for what the future may hold.”
