***Updated: Orange County approves $90M TDT funding for UCF stadium from "excess revenues"

I’m heading down shortly to the Orange County Building in downtown Orlando.

Today UCF Officials will be presenting another request for Orange County Resort Tax money.

Some people have reported UCF Officials have reduced our original request of $176.6 million over 10 years to $10 million per year for 10 years.

Additionally, there is a report Orange County Mayor Demings has put out a memo to the other County Commissioners that he is in favor of UCF getting the $10 million per year request.

The meeting starts at 9:00 am…

COLUMN: UCF Space Themed Uniforms Blast Off

Unique designs are always a hit with UCF fans

What is money called in space? Star Bucks. Okay, enough with the bad space jokes.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year — Space Game time! Or, if your name is Trace or UCFMike, the worst time of the year…

Last Saturday, the Citronauts (Knights, if you don’t like fun) took the field for their 7th annual space game. “Mission VII,” saw the ‘Nauts wear Canaveral blue uniforms for the first time. After seeing these babies in person, I decided to do a quick look back and give my personal rankings of the seven unique uniforms we’ve seen so far, from “Space U.”

Tale of two UCF transfers: Terrence Lewis and Branden Jennings resurface

Lewis has played in three games and has not recorded a tackle at Garden City CC.

Jennings, meanwhile, has ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED at Hinds CC. He has 42 solos, 16 assists, 6.5 TFL, 1 sack, and 1 FF.

The Mississippi State commit is the top-ranked juco LB and No. 20th-ranked player overall nationally.

Thought this comparison was very interesting and worth posting.

Harvey's Soul Crushing 92 yard TD run

Not only was this the nail in the coffin for the UCF victory, this is officially my second favorite play in Bounce House history, behind only the Hughes kickoff return.

There is nothing more demoralizing than a long rushing TD ( maybe a kickoff return ). And coming right after the Plumlee fumble, then Henderson INT, and with the rain starting again, just spectacular and soul crushing for Okie Lite and the Mullet.

We won because of defense

George used to tell me during our lunches," if you hold your opponent under 27 points, you have a chance to win the game."

When a poster only talks about QBs and HCs, they invalidated their opinion.

What going to practices has taught me is HCs get too much credit and criticism. DCs and OC don't get enough.

Addison needs another big defensive performance to stay on for another year.

Although it’s early Gus extension looks good

Although it may be early, looking at college coaching changes it looks like the extension of Gus’s contract was well timed. There is going to be a lot of issues with these new coaches in both coordination in the new schools, as well as recruiting. In addition the numbers that these coaches are making and will compete with, with other schools, is astronomical.

Good job getting out in front of this TM.
