Does a UCF Deion have any weaknesses?

If there is a potential weakness to Deion...it might be the OC position.

Last year...he demoted his OC (Sean Lewis) in Nov 2023 and promoted Offensive Analyst Pat Shurmur, former failed NY Giants HC...and someone who has worked with almost 10 NFL teams since 1999.

Does Shurmur really want to stay in College Football or would he want back into the NFL at an assistant role which he has had for most of his career?

While Shurmur doesn't have to sell much on the recruiting trail (hadn't recruited HS players since 1998) because he has Deion Sanders business card with him...its sometimes hard to figure out what style of play Shurmur really wants to do...as his team normally struggles running the ball (especially on the road...except at UCF).

Colorado was DEAD LAST in Big 12 Conf Game rushing (only 73 yds per game) and a league worst 2.6 yds per carry.

Yes, CU had an all-world QB (completed 75% of his conf game passes) and Do-Everything WR but imagine how bad that running game would be if they didn't have one of the Top 2-3 QBs in the country?

Would Deion dare to move off Shurmur and hire Frost as OC?

Can anyone else think of other negatives for Deion? (There are a ton of positives)

RJ Harvey named a Doak Walker Award semifinalist... again.

RJ was just named one of the 10 semifinalists for the Doak Walker Award given to the best running back in the country. This is the 2nd consecutive year he's been a semifinalist. Only RJ in 2023 and 2024 and Kevin Smith in 2007 have been semifinalists for UCF:

Best HC Candidates

My preference would be a current HC with a good track record.

Sumrall at Tulane should top every list....and bring his QB with him

Other than that, Chadwell and Kinne should be possibilities

Hard NO from me on Frost. At his dream job, he was lazy and spent alot of time cheating on his wife. Milton and and GOL's guys built that 2017 team.

OT: F1 2024

With pre-season testing starting tomorrow I figured I’d start a new thread for this season.

Full schedule: https://www.formula1.com/en/racing/2024.html
First race: Mar 2, 10am

Just so we can laugh in a month here are my pre-testing predictions:
1. RBR - No surprise, I do wonder if we get a full season of Checo though
2. Ferrari - Lots of low hanging fruit that would move them past Mercedes, Fred’s had a full cycle to improve things
3. Mercedes - Lewis will be a lame duck and the team is likely still struggling from having so many key people poached the past couple years
4. McLaren - Huge momentum from last year and two very good drivers, I wouldn’t be surprised if they beat Mercedes
5. Williams - They were scrappy at times last year, add in lots of wind tunnel time and competent leadership. I think they go up the ranks this year
6. Aston - Very fast at times but can’t put it together consistently
7. Torro Rosso - New leadership and if either driver is knocking it out of the park they’ll be sitting next to Max
8. Alpine - probably another rough year for the French
9. Sauber - Another year of collecting sponsorship dollars
10. Haas - Just sell already

Where the gold haters at 23,24,25, 2600, 2700, 2800? ⤴️

It was never a stock vs gold thing. You tools never got that. Of course you are in on the game with the casino in the stocks. But the casino can go broke too. This is why we have gold.

Buckle up bag holders, your dollars are inflating away assuming you can still afford to eat. This is why we have hedges like gold and bitcoin. China is accumulating gold, and they want the world to know de-dollarization is upon us.

Brandon needs to establish update times

It’s 11:40 PM, I’m about to go to sleep, but am staying up to see if an 11:45 update drops.

@Brandon, give us some set times for the next coach rumor to drop. You’re killing our jobs and sleep! I’m checking my phone every couple minutes, my family doesn’t understand.

Crap, I need to end this post now, because I need to see if you posted something —
