OT: Homeowner Insurance Information question

The My Safe Florida Homes program is where the state of Florida offers up to $10,000 matching funds for hurricane improvements to your home. I have gone through the whole process to replace my windows, a pre-windstorm inspection, contractor selection, window installation, county inspection, post-windstorm inspection and uploading of all associated documents. However, I can't seem to get the documentation I need (see below) out of my insurance company. They say there is a note from the underwriter that the inspection was considered and no adjustment made (that's another issue) but they say that is internal and they won't send me an email or anything indicating that. They say I have to get it from my agent. I have sent emails and left call back requests with my agent but they have yet to get back to me.

How can I get this information? What is my recourse with the insurance provider and/or agent?

From the state:
=========================================================================
The My Safe Florida Home Program requests the following information to complete our review of yourDraw Request:

Proof of insurance premium discounts, if any. Acceptable documents include:
The renewal insurance Declarations page that was uploaded is insufficient documentation as it does not indicate it was generated following a review of your Final Inspection Report conducted on 11/5/24. This is typically reflected by an “Issued Date” or “Effective Date” that is after the Final Inspection date and/or a note that states the Final Inspection Report was reviewed. Please reach out to your insurance agent to either obtain this updated Declarations page or to request they send you an email that explains the amount of any credits/discounts, if any, that will be applied following review of your Final Inspection Report. (Email must display date email sent, name and company information of the insurance agent, and the agent’s email address.)

1. A new declarations page that reflects any new discounts received
2. An email from your insurance provider stating the amount of discounts received, or that discounts will not be applied
3. A quote from an insurance provider showing either the amount of discounts or a new premium
4. A letter from your insurance provider stating the amount of discounts received, or that discounts will not be applied

NOTE: It is acceptable if your insurance premium increased or did not change. Please provide documentation of any premium changes after sharing your final inspection report with your insurance provider.

Let’s find out with Frost

I apologize in advance for creating another thread, but I thought this point would be interesting to get a response to on its own. Also, I don’t create new threads often so don’t bite my head off for it, lol.

Anyway, I totally get both sides of the argument regarding Frost. But I think there’s really an element here of we’re always gonna wonder what could’ve been or what could be if we don’t give it a shot. We can talk about the downside and all that, even though I don’t know that it would really set us back that much if it failed.

And of course, if he is able to replicate even part of his success from before (doesn’t need to be undefeated) then things could be really great here, not too mention his offense was just really fun and exciting and I think our fanbase will enjoy that.

Anyway, my point is I think this is the right hire because we can find out once and for all what happens if we have Frosty and we don’t ever have to play the what if game ever again.

And yes, my personal opinion is, I think it will be a good hire and it will work out. But even if it doesn’t, I’ll be glad that we gave it a try.

***The Gus Malzahn offer***

Not that this makes a huge difference, but hearing the leak about an offer originated from Gus' people. Jason Beede (247) made that clear in his report, and I'm fairly certain the Sentinel probably is barking up the same tree. UCF would absolutely not leak anything regarding an offer, because I think some people are reading the Sentinel story and got that impression. The guy from WESH thinks UCF leaked it.

Now, I don't know why an offer would be made and you leak you got an offer. Wouldn't you leak that you are accepting the offer? But if you're UCF, you don't make an offer that isn't going to be accepted. It's just kind of odd how this has developed. Danny was a ninja with how he handled these things.

OT: Experience with Ulcer?

Went to urgent care yesterday due to a burning sensation on my upper abdomen along with body aches, chills all night. They told me to go to the ER, went and they did the usual, CT scan, urine, blood, etc. Just some inflammation but they referred me to a GI specialist for a possible endoscopy to check for ulcers.

Anyone get an ulcer with similar symptoms? Or maybe gastritis is something they mentioned as well.

Chills, night sweats (i think due to the medication from the ER), diarrhea, burning sensation.

***A couple things about names***

I think it's very possible TMo discussed possible terms with multiple candidates because some rumors I'm getting here in the last few minutes are all over the place. I have a very good reason to believe it's one guy, but I cannot be wrong on this. I'll never live it down.

I'll throw out two names just to cover my bases... in the last few minutes some people believe Carolina Panthers OC Joe Brady and Coastal Carolina Jamey Chadwell may have been involved in the interviews.

I had not heard anything about them prior, and have zero intel that tells me they are the hire. But I'll just put it out there.

RJ Harvey. The one bright spot in the 2024 season.

Probably the only thing I’ll remember of this 2024 UCF football season.

From the AP:

Record-breaking score

UCF coach Gus Malzahn said aside from winning the game and sending his seniors off with a win, the goal was to ensure Harvey set the program’s record for most career touchdowns in UCF history.

Harvey accomplished that with a 5-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter. That gave him 47 total touchdowns in four seasons with the Knights, passing Kevin Smith for the all-time lead. He added a receiving touchdown in the fourth quarter too.

Harvey finished his season with 1,942 total yards and 25 touchdowns. He also completed his first pass for 18 yards in the second quarter.
