This one is on me....

The last 5 losses I've been out of town, 10 of last 12. I try to rep UCF when I'm on the road but we keep losing.
Yesterday I went to the Texas/OK State game and can tell you that we have a LONG way to go before getting to B12 level. They have great fan support and facilities. Unfortunately it's in the middle of nowhere, you are going to HATE trying to get there. I'm sitting in OKC waiting for the only plane to Orlando. We are in for a rude awakening. I'll try to stay in town more during next fall.

Here's everything East Carolina head coach Mike Houston said about UCF during his weekly press conference on Tuesday. The Knights and Pirates will do battle this Saturday night in Greenville, N.C. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU.

OT: On the Lighter side...........

A man asked a waiter to take a bottle of Merlot to an unusually attractive woman sitting alone at a table in a cozy little restaurant.
So the waiter took the Merlot to the woman and said, 'This is from the gentleman seated over there'..... and indicated the sender with a nod of his head.

She stared at the wine coolly for a few seconds, not looking at the man, then decided to send a reply
to him by a note. The waiter, who was lingering nearby for a response, took the note from her
and conveyed it to the gentleman.
The note read: 'For me to accept this bottle, you need to have a Mercedes in your garage,
a million dollars in the bank and 7 inches in your pants'.

After reading the note, the man decided to compose one of his own in return.
He folded his note, handed it to the waiter and asked him to deliver it to the lady.
It read:
'Just to let you know things aren't always what they appear to be. I have a Ferrari Maranello, a BMW Z8,
a Mercedes CL600, and a Porsche Turbo in my several garages. I have beautiful homes in Aspen and Miami,
and a 10,000 acre ranch in Louisiana. And there is over twenty million dollars in my bank accounts and portfolio.
But, not even for a woman as beautiful as you, would I cut off three inches. Just send the wine back.'

The 3rd Turnover (INT)

I’ve seen a few posts that the 3rd turnover wasn’t really a turnover since it was 4th down, blah, blah, blah …. So in my best CoverSix impression - you’re wrong.

JRP missed the first down underneath as he tried going over the top, sitting right there for the taking.

While the defense played terrible the offense, led by JRP really shit the bed last night.

My opinion is we win 40-20 or better and get ranked. What do yall think? Does someone have to lose in order for us to move up?

2022 UCF vs 2010 UCF?

Who is better?

  • 2010 UCF

I’m just curious if you folks think this team is better than the 2010 team who went 11-3 and finished ranked 21st. 2010 had close losses to NC State and Kansas State. Also a 10 point loss to Southern Miss. Caped off with a win over UGA in the Liberty Bowl. I’m just not sure we’ve progressed much in terms of talent. A lot of NFL guys in 2010 despite being C-USA without much history. Since we’re heading to the B12 next year, you’d think there would be a big gap in talent but not sure it’s that big. Who would you have in a matchup?

2022
Conference: AAC
Coach: Gus
QB: JRP
Key Offense: Bowser, Harvey, Richardson, Baker, Hudson, O’Keene, Holler
Key Defense: TMB, Celiscar, Jean-Baptiste, Johnson, Wilson, Thornton

2010
Conference: C-USA
Coach: GOL
QB: Godfrey
Key Offense: Weaver, Murray, Guyton, McDuffie, Aiken, Newsome.
Key Defense: Ishmael, Hallman, Miller, Robinson, Weams, Nall, Bouye.

WR Rotation

Why is Jaylon Griffin out there during the first series? Dropped a walk in TD that probably would’ve changed the flow of the game. JRP doesn’t throw a pick the next play and things don’t immediately spiral out of control.

Baker came in later, so clearly he was healthy. Why would you not have your three starting WRs in there at, you know, the start of the game?
