Anyway, last Monday when were discussing stadium structural issues and TMo's decision to shelve the end zone project to focus on the main tower, I posted these photos in that thread:
There was a worker who appeared to be "inspecting" that particular beam.
Nearby, and perhaps related or not, there was another worker sawing some aluminum.
Tonight, we went back to the stadium for coordinator interviews. I happened to notice this device was now installed on that same beam. It was definitely not there last Monday, it appears the worker I saw later installed this. It has a lever handle on both sides along with venting. There is a metal tubing that protrudes and extends along the entire beam (electrical?).
