T-Will and head coaching jobs

So T will has been mentioned for the GT job. I wouldn’t be surprised if Stanford, Louisville, Colorado consider him. If we lose T-Will say bye bye to this recruiting class. He’ll poach these recruits and the Kenny’s. Let’s be honest the goddamn offensive staff can’t ****king recruit, outside of ice Harris and he hasn’t done a damn thing for us, to save their lives on top of being awful coaches. All our recruiting prowess is on defensive side. They are young and energetic who have shown an ability to be cutting edge not hillbillies from podunk Arkansas and Alabama stuck in their ways. Naturally players want to play for them.

T-Will is the reason we didn’t have a losing record last year, why we beat uf, why we should have beat Louisville this year, etc. let’s be honest do you trust Gus to make a smart hiring to replace T-Will especially if Travis takes Gibbs, Addison, and the Kenny’s with him? Whose he going to go after Rodney Garner? Gus refuses to hire outside his circle of friends and ex players.

Losing Travis is going to be awful. The only excitement in this program right now comes from the defense. This is going to be horrific. Unless we tell him he’s hciw next year. Do it Terry you ****kikg coward.

Nice to get a win over an ACC opponent - no matter how ugly it may have looked. I figured I'd start this just in case we have a game this week. Maybe it will bring some levity to the board between reading/posting about the EURO path. Here's to another Knights win!

Storm is here

Perfect title for the rest of our season. Mikey can't run. JRP can't throw.. Maybe its time for TC, the future of the program. I would love to see JRP throw for 350 this next game and run for 100. He is more than capable. He has the talent. But unfortunately, against average competition he hasn't produced. 2 more games and you have to pull him for the kid. TC is ready. TC will make mistakes, but he will also make plays.

The whole team goes as the QB goes. TC does both. JRP is the next closest thing, and he doesn't seem to be that close to being complete. If he looks like butt against SMU as a passer, it is time to pull the trigger. Coach owes it to everybody on the roster to give the team the best chance to win, and that is with TC. Mistakes will be made, and maybe we finish 8-4, but we will be better for it down the road.

MBB Official Practice Started Tuesday

I thought Official Practice starts in mid Oct since the season is not until early Nov.

But hey, UCF MBB Official Practice started Tuesday Sep 27th.

I don't know what to expect this season honestly.

We have Darius Johnson and Taylor Hendricks, who could be an early star.

But our schedule is tough, especially our conference schedule.

The Athletic (Paywall): Mandel's Bag (Big XII and other tidbits)

Not going to post whole articles, but there are some great Big XII and other tidbits in his bag. Couple of quotes from this week.

"Every conference has a bottom feeder or two that other schools consider a probable win and breather week on their schedule. But it’s hard to identify what team that would be in the Big 12. Is there one? — Matt in Kansas City
I really don’t see one. It’s crazy. But inevitably someone is going to finish 2-7 in that conference.
Will it be a West Virginia team that was good enough to take Pitt to the wire and crush Virginia Tech on the road? An Iowa State team that beat Iowa? A TCU team that came in with low expectations but just beat SMU with an impressive performance? Could it be … Texas?
All I know is it’s a really good conference that people will invariably dismiss when no one finishes better than 10-2 for the very reason that there are no gimme wins on the schedule."

And one of my favorite, added quotes regarding the PAC-12's bottom feeder ...

"Stew, Scott Frost, Herm Edwards and then Geoff Collins are fired in subsequent weeks. Do you see another firing this week? — Rob W., Columbia, S.C.
I don’t know if it’s this week, but I can’t imagine Karl Dorrell is making it to November.
Per Boulder Daily Camera beat writer Brian Howell’s research, Colorado is the first Power 5 school since 1957 to lose its first four games by 25 points or more. You don’t want to go down in infamy with 1893 Tennessee."
