UCF IT Exodus Thread

I know there are a lot of technologist grads here, so this might be interesting to both them and others.
There’s been a mass exodus of IT personnel from UCF after the new CIO was hired. City of Orlando is having an issue there too (for another thread if anyone is interested). From what I’m hearing, the new CIO doesn’t spend on any non-tech training, advancement isn’t being handled uniformly, and HR is a nightmare. Many people have left, including some senior positions. It’s bad enough that the discussion is popping up on the UCF subreddit.
Is anyone hearing similar issues? Is this all just a few annoyed employees?
