UCF's 2022 Transfer Portal Class of 9 by Years of Eligibility Left

Here are the max years of eligibility left for the following incoming players:

DB Koby Perry (Austin Peay): 1 year (FCS All-American, the Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year)
OT Ryan Swoboda (Virginia): 1 year (Multi-year starter at OT for UVA)
TE Kemore Gamble (Florida): 1 year (Starting TE for UF who had 34 catches, 414 yds and 4 TDs last season)
OT Tylan Grable (Jacksonville State): 2 years (2nd Team FCS All-American)
QB John Rhys Plumlee (Ole Miss): 2 years (ran for 1,023 yds in just 9 games as a true freshmen)
LB K.D. McDaniel (Kentucky): 3 years (had 13 tackles this past season in a back-up role)
WR Kobe Hudson (Auburn): 3 years (4 Star Recruit. Auburn's#1 WR this past season with 44 catches for 580 yds and 4 TDs. Recruited by Gus)
LB Terrence Lewis (Maryland): 4 years (5 Star Recruit, sat out last year recovering from injury)
DT Lee Hunter (Auburn): 4 years (4 Star Recruit, sat out last season, recruited by Gus)

Those in bold should see Big 12 action starting in 2023.

I like that 6 out of the 9 players have multiple years left with 4 players with at least 3 years of eligibility to use.

***Save the Date (Spring Game)***

UCF's spring break is the week of March 6, so spring practice will begin the following week on Tuesday, March 15. They'll practice three times per week culminating with the spring game on Saturday, April 16 at 12 noon. Yes, that's Easter Weekend.

I know people complain every year, but I don't think there will ever be a Saturday night spring game considering it really is just a practice and they don't want to keep players captive longer than they need to be. I wouldn't be opposed to Friday night as some schools have done, but I think the staff likes Saturday for recruiting purposes.

No word yet on whether individual practices prior the spring game will be open to fans. I wouldn't hold my breath as most schools (including UCF) only opened up Saturdays to allow for recruits to visit because the NCAA was still in a dead period because of COVID.

OT: Is 5G going live going to cripple air travel tomorrow?

Every CEO of every airline and UPS/FedEx signed a letter saying that the C-band radiation from 5G going live tomorrow could cause "mass cancellations" and this would possibly be repeated daily based upon conditions on the ground in major airports. Impact to avionics supposedly that could make landing in any airport with low visibility too risky.

If you're traveling tomorrow, good luck. WTF.

Shooting at Sanford Seminole

I live in the area and heard a RUMOR that student who was shot is a football player however injury is not life threatening. Prayers for all involved.

How to enjoy this wonderful Bowl Victory over the Gators all year long: KNIGHT YOUR RIDE(S)!

While I won't get in the debate on which great bowl win (Fiesta, Peach, etc...) are the best or most meaningful...because this win was vs the Gators and some of us live in Gator Country and/or around a lot of Gators (i.e. College Park, Thornton Park, Winter Park, Delaney Park, etc...) or anytime you enter a Walmart Parking Lot, one of the best ways to DIG into every Gator Fan and remind them of their loss is to KNIGHT YOUR RIDE!

Every time you pass a Gator or even better...STOP in front of a Gator at a red light (there is a FREE 2-3 min message) or even best (stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on 408 or I-4 and you remain in front of them for 5 mins...10 mins...maybe 15 mins), your KNIGHT Plate will make them STEW...and maybe, just maybe, a few will even flick you off in the rearview mirror or when they force themselves to pass you.

UCF Plates current sit in 15th place in the State with 33,021 plate sales. (UF sits #3 with 94,585 and FSU sits at #4 with 71,344). Miami is at #19 with 28,342. cow u (I had to scroll way down) is at #37 with 15,037 plates...which means that 23 people turned in their cow u plates since August due to embarrassment.
