On March 22, 2024 Bradford was arrested in Henderson, NV for alleged drunk driving within just 24 hours of being sworn in as a Nevada police officer.

Thaddeus Ward is in Triple A for the Nationals and Dylan Moore is batting .206 (9HR) this season for the Mariners.

Seems like one of those Asperger's channels with kids who are obsessed with trains, light bulbs, plastic chairs, vacuums, etc. It would seem he intentionally tampered with a switch because he was hanging around the derailment afterward and pestering an investigator.

From the story:

The teenager, who reported the derailment to authorities, approached an investigator after the crash and asked what caused it. When the investigator said it was undetermined, he responded that “obviously a switch was flipped the wrong way,” according to court records.

He told the investigator he was a train enthusiast and showed him the video he had shot of the derailment, the records said.

Lancaster County Attorney Patrick F. Condon declined to comment.

The teen denied trespassing in the area and tampering with the switch, but the investigator pointed out in the documents that he knew where the switch was and how it worked.

Authorities later discovered that a tripod had been set up near the accident site just four minutes before the train derailed, court records show.

The final recruiting event of the summer is here: Knight Splash. I also believe this will be the final "late summer/pre camp" recruiting event ever. Recent changes to the recruiting calendar have nixed the pre-camp period which allowed for unofficial visits, extending the dead period to encompass all of July and August (up until the season).

UCF is trending quite high for 2026 four-star QB Landon Duckworth. We had a story about him earlier in the week.

Homefield released some new UCF merch today. Ranges from Citronaut to Natty shirts.

The MLB Draft begins tonight with the first two rounds. Rounds 3-10 on Monday and then 11-20 on Tuesday.

UCF commitments to watch include:

3B Akhil Nimmala - Valrico (Fla.) Strawberry Crest
RHP/SS Mateo Gray - North Broward Prep

Probably late Day 2 or Day 3 guys.

In terms of current UCF players, RHP Najer Victor could hear his name called. RHP Chase Centala was higher on draft boards earlier in the season before his midseason slide.

Jeff Banks, UT's Special Teams coach, left his wife for a stripper named Pole Assassin and moved to Austin with her. She apparently has a pet monkey she performs with. Last night said monkey attacked a Trick-or-Treater and seriously hurt the poor kid. This is just insane and so on-brand for Sark and UT. They fired Herman to get this.
