Good news if you are a fan of UCF Football player…Offensive Tackle Paul Rubelt

Hello everyone…bummers that I didn’t think of taking a picture last night at our UCF Men’s Basketball game, but at halftime I saw our UCF starting Right Tackle Paul Rubelt in the concession area.

I approached Paul and asked him if this was his last year playing for UCF or if he can play one more year…

ARTICLE: Arizona State won on the field, lost in the experience

Sun Devils deserve more support from their fans
ASU did not deserve to win the game against UCF, but the ASU Sun Devils do deserve much better support from the people of Phoenix/Tempe. ASU apparently stands for Absolutely Silent and Underwhelming. If you have been reading my columns this season, then you know that when I visit places where UCF Football plays away games, I try my hardest to look at everything in the best light, even if it is different from what one might experience during a game weekend in Orlando. This approach was greatly challenged by my experience at Arizona State University. Despite this, I will do my best to cover the experience of the weekend in the community, the tailgates and in the stadium.

OT: ASU excursions/restaurant recs ?

Hey everyone,

I'm planning my ASU trip and here’s the rough itinerary:

  • Thursday: Staying in Sedona
  • Friday morning: Heading to the Grand Canyon
  • Friday evening: Driving down to Tempe
Any recommendations for food or cool spots to check out in Sedona or Tempe? I'm open to any excursions or dining spots you suggest.

Right now, the only thing on the list is possibly checking out the Cowboy Club Grille.

cc: @shacket -- in case you have any suggestions and/or if you'll deliver some special goodies for the tailgate (since I can't DM you).

Update Nov 2024: First look at most expensive ($850 Million) College Football Stadium ever built at Northwestern

Weird how they haven't made arrangements before they tore down much of their old stadium (new $800 Million stadium will be done in 2026), but Northwestern STILL doesn't know where they will be playing their home opener this year on August 31st or any of their "scheduled" home games this season.
