PREFACE: and yes, I know I cannot spell (poll)

For our 25th anniversary, wife and I want to get back to Europe. We've done Ireland (2014 game), and most of mainland Europe as far east as Vienna and Brno (between 2014-2018). Got to nail this down over the next few weeks, put in paperwork for vacation (they always want to know every hotel and location**), etc...

So wife and I are thinking of flying to and hitting Iceland for a few days, then bouncing over either ...

• UK (London or maybe Edinburg, not sure, maybe both by train/plane), or ...
• Norway-Sweden (fly into Oslo, train over to Stockholm, then back)

For a week, before flying back to Iceland for a few more days, before flying home.

Anyone have any recommendations on either or, and cities in each? What to do?

We'd love to go back to central Europe, but I'm going to avoid the mainland with Russia-Ukraine going on. Same reason not looking at Finland either. At least the Baltic Sea is between us and the Russians in the case of Sweeden.

EDIT: Read Bergen might be better than Oslo or Stockholm. Still debating.

**Don't need a travel agent. I've done every bowl and even a 12 country, 27 day tour before our 2014 game in Europe, all with my own planning.

Seems to me that the Dungeoning has been pretty mild everyone seems pretty upbeat? I am old and I forget what I had for lunch so I am trying to remember the last two springs. Rather than look back on the site I will grab my Cricket Phone and wait for responses.

He's young but can be tough to take down as he develops. Thoughts?

Is it May 1 or July 1 for football players? I ask because there could always be some roster movement after Saturday's game.

Guys I could see Gus circling back to include C Clay Webb, Georgia; LB Brandon Jennings, Kansas State; OLB/DE Jaren Handy, Illinois; and DT Marquis Robinson, Auburn.

Webb, a former 5 star center, was recruited heavily by Gus and Auburn before signing with Georgia. The Feb 1 deadline for Webb to sign with an SEC school has passed. UCF will most likely have an open position at center next season if Matthew Lee declares for the draft. There is a need for a quality backup at center this season.

Jennings, a former four-star linebacker from Jacksonville, was recruited by UCF after transferring from Maryland. He chose Kansas State and is now back in the portal just four months later. Handy, a former four-star defensive end/outside linebacker and Auburn signee, could contribute at defensive end at UCF, spell Josh Celiscar as a third-down pass rush specialist this fall, and take over the position full time in the pass-happy Big 12 in 2023. Not sure this is an area of huge need for UCF, though. Also, Handy was dismissed from the Illinois program, so he isn't exactly Citizenship Award recipient material.

Robinson, a former four-star defensive tackle from Milton, played on the scout team at Auburn alongside Lee Hunter. The two would be formidable run stoppers at UCF. Robinson flirted with Missouri and Tennessee prior to holding off transferring by the spring football deadline.

I mention the offensive and defensive linemen as potential transfers because they could transform UCF's front moving forward.

Still processing what happened to me the other morning.

I walked into Starbucks before work and ordered “a black coffee on ice.” The bish barista Farrah says “you can just say ice coffee without cream. That’s a little harsh.”

I was dumbfounded. Asked if my tone was rude and then she told me there’s a better way to say that.

I was livid.

I went Karen mode and called corporate on that coffee without cream bish.

Saturday night spring games have been off the table as coaches don't want to hold players longer than necessary on a weekend for what amounts to a practice. 2016 night spring game was a one-off.

I know they had something on the video board about the luncheon on August 18th, but have not see any other details yet.

Anyone seen anything?

Was hoping to have a Dungeon Table like we have done in the past.

I will be willing to organize it for this year.

Here were the details for last year: (there were no players seated at the tables last year as there were in years past, not sure if they will be this year but that was a big draw (at least for me).

It's accurate, but I don't think he understands the nature of what he heard given the non-sensical tweet language.

Basically, what people said is Frost instructed his staff to delete all recruiting data so the incoming staff didn't have access to it. It's why it wasn't a slam dunk for Frost to return to coach the bowl game.

Aside from the non news from the QB position wanted to know what stood out to everyone. Here is my list:
- had a packed day and did not get a chance to tailgate so the freebies on the NE side of the stadium were nice. Particularly from Publix, bite of sausage, pulled pork and mac n cheese came in clutch.
- King Tut himself Stephen Martin was the surprise of the day for me. We shouldn’t be too surprised as we have seen a big WR jump into the rotation each of the past few seasons. His presence may mean that Gatewood will see little pt.
- Looks like Quade Mosier is the second LB and I thought he did a good job. He led the team in tackles I think. I am afraid that Lewis wont be ready just because we have not seen much of him and that means a lot of inexperienced guys playing a lot of snaps.
- I was happy to see the offense use the whole field in a way that didn’t seem possible for them until the bowl game really.
- I was team QR codes right up until i realized I wasn’t going to see numbers on backs and half the team was wearing gold on white. Particularly on the defensive side I had no idea who was doing what.
- SPF 100 sunscreen is awesome.
