2022 depth chart

Still think Sam Jackson will wind up at LG. He is projected to be a G in the NFL and I think he plays there to get it down 100%. Will probably see him groomed to be the backup C in the spring also. The more versatile he can be the more valuable he will be at the next level.
I like that idea.. I just don't see how Sam comes back if he doesn't start

Agree with all of this with the exception of 1) Sam Jackson playing backup. Why not have Grable at guard and have both Swoboda and Jackson on the ends? I read somewhere Grable can also play guard

and 2) Jaylon playing behind Amari. Jaylon has way to much in game experience to keep him sidelined

I think Sam Jackson will play Left Guard in the fall. But he will most likely play Right Tackle for the white team in the Spring Game. I could also see him getting reps at Center during the spring as the other poster alluded. UCF must have an emergency option there.

Grable is my pick to play left tackle because he is a great fit for Gus Malzahn's offense at that position.
Watch him wash down defenders on run plays on the edge at 1:07, 1:29, and 1:55.
His athleticism is off the charts. Watch him hurdle a defender at 1:17. He will stymie rush ends in the AAC.
