Nope, sitting out doesn't mean you just get to sit back blame someone else. Sitting out or voting 3rd party is also a decision, and we have seen elections decided based on it. Obviously it's your vote, or lack or vote, to do with as you wish, but neither of those decisions gives you some sort of moral high ground.

But youd still be living in it. If you are OK living through a wanna be dictator just so you can pat yourself on the back, more power to you, but your lack of vote or 3rd party vote is still a decision you made that helped that come about. You don't get a pass for your decision anymore than anyone else does. You can't be neutral on a moving train, the train is still moving whether your like it or not.
If not for Nader voters in Florida in 2000, we might not have had the Iraq war. If not for Stein voters in the rust belt in 2016, we might still have roe v wade. Those votes can have consequences too, no matter how above it all yoi want to act.

Another point to consider. if Biden wins, the maga movement is basically over and we might very well see a better and more reasonable Republican party going forward. Most of them don't like Trump anyway, they are just scared of him. That goes away if Trump loses, the Republican party would likely rid themselves of maga by 2028 and it would be a fringe group at best. Trump wins, and the Republican party is likely maga for the next 2 decades at least.

Reagan used to introduce himself to his own staff on a regular basis because his alzeihmers was so bad, he had no idea who they were. And for the next 30 years Republicans all looked at him as the standard bearer of the party.

Pre 2016 I was 100% a Republican, I abstained from the 2016 election because I didn't like either candidate. But Jan 6 made rethink that policy, we are taking our democracy for granted and it could quite easily be stripped away from us.

My support for a democratic society is not to vote. The system is terrible if it’s weighed towards only 2 terrible choices in a 2 party system

Normally party insiders decide the candidates. Like him or not, Trump is the outlier on the normal. The party elites hate him, but the base overrides them. To be honest both parties would get rid of our democratic republic if it meant that party would have total control. They love and crave power, and don't be dumb enough to think otherwise.
