They ONLY thing resembling anything like a policy position is border security. But President Biden has a border security proposal on the table. Its measures would directly address the border security issues we are seeing. As with ANY legislation requiring bipartisan approval to pass, there was likely to be give-and-take from both sides before they reached consensus. But guess what? Our Republican Congress rejects it out of hand.
Apparently, campaigning on border security is more important than trying to fix it.

I just read that Florida's Board of Education announced a new rule Wednesday "to permanently prohibit" the use of state or federal funds for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs or activities at public colleges throughout the state. The new rule applies to all 28 schools in the Florida College System.
"Higher education must return to its essential foundations of academic integrity and the pursuit of knowledge instead of being corrupted by destructive ideologies," Florida Commissioner of Education Manny Diaz Jr. said in a statement.
"These actions today ensure that we will not spend taxpayers' money supporting DEI and radical indoctrination that promotes division in our society," Diaz added.
