ACC members in despair

They signed a bad deal. When it comes to entertainment contracts, nobody should sign anything out more then 3,4,5 years. The market changes fast. They signed their deal....they have to live with it. The Big 12 has signed the latest deal, and that's why it is worth as much as it is. When somebody else signs a deal in the future, it will likely be bigger than what the Big 12 contract was (unless, of course, the value is just not in the same ballpark). That's sports/entertainment. The latest deal typically is getting more money.

FSU doesn’t have enough big pockets to do anything about it . their books haven’t looked good the last few years

He got showed the Big 12 number and is just annoyed that UCF will be making more money in their TV deal. they pretend not to care about UCF but know we can become a problem with an even playing field.

They not happy, but that's because they want to go to SEC or B10. They are not calling B12.

Would rather poach acc teams for east cost travel then pac12.

We would be so screwed if we were still in the aac.

Clemson and fsu leaving within the next 5 years if not sooner.

True, but the B12 won’t be doing any of the heavy lifting from a legal POV.

Watch Arizona. Their elite basketball program would thrive in the Big 12, which is now considered the best BB conference in the nation. The PAC media options are looking squirrely, and more so by the week. One spark, and the PAC goes up like napalm.

Only thing the ACC can really do is come up with a unequal revenue sharing model to appease the bigger brands in the conference. That's just a bandaid fix for the short term. The entire conference still will have a significant revenue gap. That long term deal the former commish signed looks real bad right now.

Hope they have some good lawyers to try and fight the grant of rights!

Long-term deal was to avoid further poaching by B10 and SEC. All roads end in top programs going to B10/SEC, just a matter of when.
