He was forced to admit that he is a millionaire after going on his nonsense tax release PR stunt and his statement brings the lulz

Reminded that he is a millionaire, he did not shirk from the description.

“I wrote a best-selling book,” he declared. “If you write a best-selling book, you can be a millionaire, too.”

Nothing says “socialist man of the people” like chiding people for not alsowriting a best selling book, for their criticism over a bed wetting socialist being a millionaire

But hey at least we have @fried-chicken to assert that a few million dollars is no big deal and everyone has that much money when they retire

:joy:

Bernie should give 90% of his book profits to the poor. I'll sit back and wait...lol

Oh yeah as long as it's someone else's money. Typical socialist...What a d bag!

socialist elites only believe in giving 90% of others money to the poor and working class.

This is your typical liberal mindset. Yeah it's ok that I have a lot more than others, but as long as you steal from someone else it is cool.
A family home costs like 300-400k in places where housing is "affordable" why would someone making 1 million be an issue? I've said a lot on this board but I've never said we should tax the shit out of people who make 1 million per year.

This is what socialists do. They run around telling people what they should and shouldn't be allowed to make, all while failing to advance their own personal situations since they're so consumed with envy of others.

"$1M is ok! $5M is not ok!"

Meanwhile we have a senile Communist loving jackass running around telling everyone how great socialism is and how evil rich people are, all while being a millionaire himself having never actual held a real job in his life. And they worship this guy.

If that’s your best response to seeing proof of the elite lefties who push socialism being hypocrites you should just quit posting altogether

It's just juicy irony that Sanders rails against rich people and our "corrupt system" that allows them to become rich, but then here boasts about how capitalism allowed even a hypocritical senile socialist like him to become a millionaire.

"Write a book you lazy slobs and you can be as rich as I am too!"

A lot of people live paycheck to paycheck and little savings. So I'm sure many would be happy to steal from someone that has $1 million in assets.

It isn't a crime to be rich and it isn't the job to funnel money into the unproductive unless you want to become a sh!thole and everyone is poor.

Even if healthcare for a single person was $500 per month 30% would be like $8.50 an hour someone making that little would qualify for discounted rates.
Keep backpedaling . You said 200 a month . See what kind of insurance you can get for that . 12000 dollar deductible most likely . It’s really shocking that you don’t know how to admit you are wrong considering the fact that 90 percent or so if the things you post here are incorrect

My company is $200 per month for individuals. My wife pays $240 per month. How much are y'all paying, shit.

Ucfmike continues to provide he is either a 12 year old on his mother's computer or has the intelligence level of a 12 year old on his mother's computer.

Some of these posts are literally cringe worthy.

Lol and you’re the clown wanting to destroy private, employer based insurance in favor of a massive government run health care system that will cost $4T more annually that we can’t afford

Do you ever stop to think about the hypocrisy and irony in your dumb posts ?

At 4 trillion, thats about a thousand bucks a month per person. 250 bucks a month sounds like a pretty good deal.

Billionaire Bernie made his money while service in Congress. His wife blew millions in a college scam. FBI dropped the ball on that. Just as they dropped the ball on Clinton Foundation. These corrupt greedy billionaires are liberal leftist communist elites. Do as I say but not as I do. Bernie does not give a dam about legal taxpaying citizens. He is another democrat elite user abuser. Loves communism, which is suppression and oppression.

Why is Bernie the Commie even allowed to run as a Democrat candidate? He is not a member of the party. The FEC should invalidate his candidacy and remove him from the ballot.

Why are people so drawn to this phony? He is not intelligent or funny or a humanitarian.
He is nothing more that a Communist hack who spouts Marxist dogma.

This is what I love. That Koch brothers report that 85 loves to promote actually shows that single payer healthcare would save us a significant amount of money.

Remember- that’s NEW spending on top of everything else. So take everyone’s current tax burden and add on another $12,500 per year and there you go.

This also proves what democrats refuse to admit- that this would be dependent upon the middle class taking a massive new tax hike, arguably the largest in history. You can’t do this off the backs of evil rich people. The middle class would have their incomes destroyed by this tax

So, like the majority of your posts, this is literal bullshit. The Koch brothers study found that while it would add about $32.6 Trillion over 10 years, the projected cost of healthcare using the current system would not have to be paid since it would be funded by the government, and that number is actually much larger than this Medicare for all estimate. The Koch brothers inadvertendly estimated a $2 Trillion dollar SAVINGS.

The Costs of a National Single-Payer Healthcare System,” published by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. The Mercatus Center gets some of its funding from the libertarian Koch brothers, but more about that later.

The author of the paper, Charles Blahous, a senior research strategist at the Mercatus Center who once was the deputy director of President Bush’s National Economic Council, says the two proponents of a universal health care system are distorting the findings of his paper.

The study looked at the impact of the Medicare for All Act introduced by Sanders on Sept. 13, 2017. The bill, which has 16 Democratic cosponsors, would expand Medicare into a universal health insurance program, phased in over four years. (The bill hasn’t gone anywhere in a Republican-controlled Senate.)

The top line of the paper’s abstract says that the bill “would, under conservative estimates, increase federal budget commitments by approximately $32.6 trillion during its first 10 years of full implementation.” According to the paper, even doubling all “currently projected federal individual and corporate income tax collections would be insufficient to finance the added federal costs of the plan.”

But Sanders’ spokesman, Josh Miller-Lewis, told us that presenting only the additional governmental cost of Medicare-for-all — “the scary $32 trillion figure” — leaves out the larger context. Of course the government would spend more on health care under a Medicare-for-all system, he said, but the idea is that it would result in less spending on healthcare in the U.S. overall.

Miller-Lewis referred to figures not highlighted in the report that show that between 2022 and 2031, the currently projected cost of health care expenditures in the U.S. of $59.4 trillion would dip to $57.6 trillion under the “Medicare-for-all” plan. That’s how Sanders arrives at his claim that the study “shows that Medicare for All would save the American people $2 trillion over a 10 year period.”

@Crazyhole am I allowed to call 85 an uneducated moron for spreading his lies, or is that a no go still?

Quite frankly, any middle-class American who does a decent job of investing for his retirement SHOULD be a millionaire when he gets to be Bernie's age.

Yea, and that's absolutely possible right now. But these people, by numbers I've shown FC three times now and he refused to look at, are extremely rare in America and the reason is that Americans by and large don't save for shit.

But that's not the point. Sanders and his legion of socialist morons have made it clear that they dislike ANY millionaire, without any caveats or context. Which makes it so much more ironic that Bernie is now a millionaire, with 3 vacation homes, and lecturing people that if they don't like not being a millionaire too, they just need to write a "best selling book".

See, that's the issue here. If you're going to base your entire political career on the issue of getting people to resent and dislike rich people, you better not become rich yourself. Woops.

Thought you were going to hit the point harder that (a) you need have at least a million saved up if you’re going to retire at 63 and (b) people are able to do this because the government isn’t taking everything they have and giving it to others. But all of you screaming to raise capital gains taxes and other “wealth” taxes are going to make it much harder for an average person to save enough to retire at 63. Which means either more people working longer or more people on government social programs when they can no longer work. Unless.... that couldn’t be the point, could it?

The thought process is become a government leech. It is much easier than working hard. Even better work for the ruling class and tax the productive more to pay you more.
