Human history is full of leaders who were old men. Once-upon-a-time, those old guys just had to make wise decisions based on their lifetime of experiences. It was the norm until now. Today, they have to be able to be quick-witted live in front of millions on national TV. Hell, most people in their prime couldn't do that, let alone someone in his eighties.
For today's ten-second soundbite audience, the Dems wanted a fighter to take on Trump and his bullsh*t. Now they've got one.
OF COURSE it was Biden's decision. He had the delegates to win. The ONLY way it was going to be different is if Biden stepped down.
