Yes, I was disappointed in Mack Brown I had him down for a win. Gamecocks maybe a hard team to beat next year now that they picked up Rattler in the portal.SEC gets first bowl win with S.Car beating N.Car. 38-21.

Hooker has gone deep twice. Strong arm his receivers are running free. Most points ever at Tennessee. Game looks well attended. Since he got to pick his own DC he will make them contenders soon.
Defense has intercepted in end zone and forced a FG deep in territory. So far they are playing pretty well.Hooker has gone deep twice. Strong arm his receivers are running free.
Agree, now that it feels like our program is moving forward again (not stagnant), then I don’t begrudge DW and JH as much as when they left in the middle of the offseasonI think I'll just pull for a fun and interesting game to watch. Yes, would like to see the SEC get another loss, but have zero affiliation with Purdue. I'm not so offended with Heupel and Danny White leaving us now that we have seemed to land on our feet okay and possibly better. Time will tell though. I love college football and my Mom lives in Knoxville. I've been to a couple games there but am no way a Vol fan. I think experiencing it and being up there to visit and it has turned me more anti-Vols. But, It's college football and Purdue is pretty good this year. Hoping for great game and overall it's just an excuse to day drink today and watch a game!Cheers!
This will be interesting Purdue just took the lead before the half. Who believes Heupel will make any half time adjustments?Agree, now that it feels like our program is moving forward again (not stagnant), then I don’t begrudge DW and JH as much as when they left in the middle of the offseason
Having flashbacks of losing big leads… this time in the 2nd instead of 3rd quarterThis will be interesting Purdue just took the lead before the half. Who believes Heupel will make any half time adjustments?
Purdue receivers have some great hands and their QB is incredible for a walk-on. We need one of those please. And as soon as I wrote that he throws 2 bad interceptions....so what do you expect from a walk-on?Having flashbacks of losing big leads… this time in the 2nd instead of 3rd quarter
Let’s see if Huepel can recruit elite defense. That’s where he may come up short. Most points ever at Tennessee. Game looks well attended. Since he got to pick his own DC he will make them contenders soon.
Super strange, they get the ball at their own 40 with plenty off time to get in good field goal position. Then a weird mix of run plays and oddly tinted timeouts and settle for a 56 yard field goal (missed).Pretty baffling play calling and time out usage on this last drive by Tennessee.
Why would they blow the whistle while his legs were still driving fowardTennessee got jobbed.
I DO NOT miss Heupels second half coaching. Way to many UCF games slipped away in the second half. Another loss for the SECTennessee has been Hueped!!!
Heupel is now 1 n 3 in bowl games.I DO NOT miss Heupels second half coaching. Way to many UCF games slipped away in the second half. Another loss for the SEC
Me either. This was your typical Heupel gimmick offense, no defense, high scoring, high yardage lose by one score game we all know too well. Fun to watch? Sure, just glad I can watch it play out in a game I don’t care about, just simply for entertainment.I DO NOT miss Heupels second half coaching. Way to many UCF games slipped away in the second half. Especially since it was pretty much a home game for Tennessee.Tenn-Purdue game was pretty fun watch. Purdue showed a lot of grit to stay in that game and win it.
And Purdue was playing without a number of starters including their best (by far) DL and WR. Both possibly 1st Round draft picks in Apr. Just goes to show how important a really good QB and an offensive scheme that is perfect for him is to a college program. You still can win when you score enough points.Especially since it was pretty much a home game for Tennessee.
