BOWL GAMES CHAT

I was surprised that the 2nd and 3rd string quarterbacks for Pittsburgh played well. Didn't they just pickup a QB in the transfer portal.

Yes they did. If I was Patti or the other guy I would transfer. That was a decent audition.
After Patti waited out Pickett's long career it must be disappointing to be replaced by a QB in the transfer portal. By the way UCF has history with the name Nick Patti.

35 minutes until kickoff for Cincinnati Alabama. I am tired of Alabama in the invitational and the announcer drooling over everything they do. Anyone else pulling for the underdog Cincinnati.

yeesh, Cinci defense looks like swiss cheese. If they can't find a way to stop the run they'll never invite a G5 to the playoff again.

Damn. Bama sent a message with that first drive…9 runs and 1 pass for a TD.
Hopefully Ridder can move the offense down the field.

That was a nice drive by Cincy. They needed to give that defense a rest. Looks like Saban is going to grind it out and wear the D down.

Big series for Cincy D after a 3 and out. Cant afford to go down 17-3.

You can see the talent on Alabama. It's like playing sandlot football and Bama gets to pick the first 10 players and the others teams gets what is left.

He’s inaccurate and every pass is a bullet. I get throwing into tight windows but gotta have touch on some of those rollout passes to the back and te’s

Ridder is not helping his draft stock.
Team has no dynamic playmakers other than the RB. Ridder is a better-than-average game manager. Very solid, elite team but you have to step it up for games of this level. Players have to make plays. Especially against the machine Bama has become. No shame in losing to Bama. 67% of these CFI games are beatdowns or blowouts anyway so just ignore the pundits who are going to say “See, they should never be given the opportunity”.

That said, they earned their opportunity and it’s good for the sport.

How many times has notre dame been boatraced 56-7? Cincy just needs to have a pulse

Yeah Cinci needs to step up and at least lose by 3pts or a touchdown. I really don't want to hear "You see, they never should have been in there in the first place!"

I still think they can pull a major upset but they need to execute better & Ridder needs to lighten up and play like his usual self.

Cincy’s Tight Ends are a big part of their offense, they have been silent in the 1st half. Run the ball, work the middle with the TE and throw a few down field to #12.

Cincy has been a slow starter all season long. They seem to play better in the 2nd halves.
Let’s see if that holds true here.
