Yet this is who the pundits wanted in the CFI. Thankfully cincy beat them otherwise we would have watched ND lose to Bama 59-3 again
Other than our game, this has been the best bowl game so far. My #3 was UTSA vs San Diego State.
I feel like I’m baffled by timeout usage in every close bowl game this year. Why did Utah not use it’s timeouts and maybe get the ball with 25-30 seconds left no matter what Ohio State does?
Rose Bowl always has the best timeslot …fun game. Stroud is really good , ridiculous arm talent
The defender also should have let the Ohio State RB score with 30 seconds left. Why tackle him on the 2 yard line when he had already busted the run for 9 yards. RB did not look like he had any inclination of not trying to score either.
Every throw the ball was perfectly thrown to him in stride. Must be nice.
Most receiving yards for season ever at Ohio State. They’ve had a bunch of good ones. Olave and another guy had good years too.
He made a big point to say it was important for him to play for his team.

Yeah. You sit out. Projected first round pick. For 2022, Round 1 pick #32 gets over 12 million. You don't play around when that kind of money is on the line.
I would have been crushed if Bortles and other players opted out in 2013 and 2017, though. I see both sides for the players and fans.
Hopefully he had some type of insurance. Bortles sitting in 2013 would have been terrible.
Right. I was just talking about this. It’s going to happen one year. Some kid is going to opt out of the CFI (or whatever exists) if they are projected as a high first round pick. If I know I am a top 5 pick, am I playing in some post-season game(s) or sitting out to guarantee myself 34-41 million?
I’m sitting out. I thought Sunshine (Trevor Lawrence) should have sat out the entire year last year. He had nothing to prove on the college football field. You could call me whatever you want to call me.

I read on Twitter high ankle sprain. Takes a couple weeks to heal. Should be ok for combine if he wants to do that.
Yesterday someone from ESPN said you have to cut these SEC teams some slack, because they have more opt outs for the NFL than any other league

LSU has like 38 scholarships players playing or something like that. The “QB” is a kid who played CB and WR the last 5 years. It’s embarrassing that this game is even being played. They should have to refund everyone’s tickets.
LSU has 17 yds of offense with 7 minutes left until halftime.
Give this WR some props, 5th year senior, 20 receptions over his entire career at LSU. Dude stuck it out through the good and bad. I just hope he doesn't get injured.
