says the raged poster that believes twitter troll Jacob Wohl conspiracy theories that he peddles on this board daily

Oh, really bud? The Tampa Bay Times, WaPO, and Tally Democrat are conspiracy sites? Do you know how insane it sounds to label his FBI and now State legal problems as a conspiracy? Do you research anything or just take whatever Gillum says as gospel?

PS- Remember when you claimed you were a moderate centrist? [roll]

moderate centrist?
you are the one using the lock 'her'/'him' up which the idiots at Trump's Estero rally were yelling, bc that is really healthy. That brand of politics might win an election but it's terrible for this country. You going to call Jolly an 'extreme Leftist' too?

lol. I've actually met Jolly many times. He lives in my district.

Let me clue you in on something- he really doesn't care about issues either way. He exists to get elected and be seen and that's exactly what he's doing. He went to Congress as a Republican and got stiffed on any real chairs of power, lost in a re-mapped district that heavily favors Democrats, and now he's clearly positioning himself to run as a Democrat in his now bluer Pinellas district.

In the meantime he's loved every minute of still claiming to be a Republican while he cashes MSNBC appearance checks to crap on conservatives.

It'd be kind of hard for him to win his eventual Democratic primary if he didn't boast about voting for Gillum. He's not a left wing extremist but a total opportunist politican.

PS- he left his wife and kids to marry his 20-something staffer years ago.

I didn’t think it would be this close. Congratulations Gillum.

I would imagine that more independents lean republican than liberal. I’m a registered independent, it’s why you don’t see republican yard signs anymore. Why put an X on your house so some liberal nut job can do damage.

My neighbor is voting Nelson but DeSantis Gov

Prospect of some asshat income tax and gouging corporations scared him away from Gillum

Gillum In stage with the idiots with vote or die shirts on from last night . But yeah divisive rhetoric and fear mongering are A conservative thing right ??

This is a a guy who said that any mention of his many legal troubles is racist. He’ll be a divisive and probably horrid governor if he wins

85 is VERY concerned about electing someone under investigation. VERY concerned indeed.

He’s under actual investigation for having taken bribes and broken State campaign law.

Not faux hysteria investigation that exists in the minds of deranged TDS folks like yourself.

I am not surprised. We have a lot of new voters from Puerto Rico, who were mostly on the left, and have been importing people from up north, who move here for weather and lower cost of living, but continue to vote for what raised the cost of living in the North east.
This cracks me up. I ask my democrat transplant friends this and it’s the same answer, it’s all about how quality of life is better up north. You can figure out my next question...

How do the libs get through the gate?

Personal responsibility. That's all on Ron. His gaffe prone campaign set himself up for charges of racism. Notice that Brian Kemp with his "pick up truck that rounds up illegals" avoided the racism charge because he runs a better campaign. Ron showed a weakness, Dems exploited it because Ron spoke at some sketchy racist conference, Ron joined some sketchy racist FB group and Ron wouldn't return money from a racist donor. Politics, like football and boxing is all about finding that weakness and stabbing the hell out of it. Andrew has weaknesses too but as shown in this thread you can't craft a consistent focused message (is it socialism, weak leadership or ethical issues?) that forms a narrative. Andrew has also been very good at avoiding the landmine with a verbal gaffe that confirms the GOP message.

Well, that and Gillum panders to a base that will overlook anything as long as he says what they want to hear.

OH THE IRONY
Well of course. After decades of the game the Democrats played, the Republicans finally gave up and joined in. Now you guys feel all confirmed. It's the typical pattern. Something runs rampant in the Democrat party and is ignored. One Republican does the same thing and it's the end of the world. The scale is radically different.

RCP has officially moved WV Senate to "toss up" on election eve.

I actually feel bad for Manchin. He bucks the extremists on his own party, does the right thing to confirm Kavanaugh, but may be punished for it anyways since voters in WV don't want Schumer anywhere near having a majority after the crap the Democrats pulled in that confirmation process.

Hey, I'm the first on record saying Trump is an asshat. My comment to bq still stands.
Actions speak louder than words. He is the first President in my lifetime that’s less concerned about getting re-elected than he does about getting things done.

This is true but his manner in public distracts from any good the administration is doing. Although, to be honest, the media isn't interested in covering the good anyways so I guess his douchebaggery doesn't really matter. I do have to wonder, though, what the media would cover if Trump didn't throw them some twitter-bait every so often.

DeSantis will eek out a win. Republicans are extremely energized after the Kavanaugh debacle and are going to show up much bigger than pollsters expect.

That said he’s not a good candidate. Gillum is a far left Bernie Bro that is under FBI investigation for running a fraud ring in tally. He should be the easiest guy to beat in FL but DeSantis isn’t running s good campaign

Hey look I called this one

Desantis was a really bad candidate. For him to win, either Florida is strongly Republican or Gillum just sucks that bad.

You figure it out.

Pollsters got their pants pulled down yet again.

Go back to Pages 1/2 of this thread and you'll see poll after poll referenced that hilariously had Gillum up 4-7%. There was ONE single poll that had DeSantis winning and 538/Vox all considered that to be an "irrelevant outlier".

They all swore that they refined their polling methods yet some of them missed by 8% in the FL Gov race.

what are you gonna do now that desantis and scott won?

I already answered the question....I've lived in a Republican held Florida pretty much my whole life - so I'll continue to do what I've always done - live.

I'm intrigued to see DeSantis handle his first hurricane - he just always looked confused in front of the public eye.

I think his question was just rhetorical in response to your question about Gillum winning.
