I am a social liberal, my concern about 15,000,000 new citizens has nothing to do with social issues. This country is being overrun economically and the schools and hospitals can't handle it.

I wasn't aware that the SCOTUS set immigration policy. Who knew? I thought their job was to interpret the law, not write it.
That's a very antiquated way of thinking. Now every branch, but the legislative branch make laws. The legislative branch focuses on adjusting the tax code to get reelected.

The first sentence is a link. It's still speculation at this point, but really, he's either endorsing Gary Johnson or "None of the above"
I would like to see him in the mix. Seriously, if there is any election EVER in our lifetimes that a surprise candidate could win, this would be the one.
Maybe not. The current projections for the election show a tight race by electoral college count. If Johnson can win Utah and maybe another like New Mexico, that might be enough to deny Trump or Clinton the 270 they need to be elected. The race would get sent to the house of representatives to decide. Where Paul Ryan runs the show... who Trump is endorsing his competitor in the primary.
The best case, as of now, is something like Clinton 42%, Trump 38%, and Johnson 20%.
I don't see how Clinton doesn't win given what an utter f*cking disaster Trump is, but it'd be great to completely neuter her victory by not even breaking 45%, getting a 3rd party to 20%+ which hasn't happened in a long time, and completely embarrassing Trump by not reaching 40%.
Top that off with R's retaining Congress and we're done.

The majority of support for Johnson is already coming from conservatives. Just look at the list of R's that said they'll support him, with Romney supposedly close to endorsing him. There have been virtually no left wingers coming out to support him.
