I'd guess that it would be the opposite. Israel pushed hard in the beginning and got a lot of people vaccinated quickly. With waning immunity, we may actually be doing worse right now if we'd sped up the vaxxes. We're probably lucky because a lot of people here will be getting their 2nd booster shot just ahead of the winter season.

I think I was concerned for the first 48 hours I could end up in the ICU. But my doctor in the hospital at about day 3 was praising my lab work and all the stuff they were looking for . Midway through the stay the nurses and doctors were impressed how dedicated I was at staying on my stomach. One nurse said if they gave patients awards , I would get it for being so dedicated to getting better. lol. I can't begin to tell you guys how amazing the CoVID staff is at Mission Hospital in Asheville,NC.

Let me ask you this? You and I both know break through cases are happening with vaccinated folks. I suspect you are vacinated. So, heaven forbid, it happens to you. If your doctor says hey UCF1and1, I think you should take ivervectin or hydroxy as these have shown promise ,that you wouldn't take it? Would you go down the path and wait it out? I don't think we should trust the future to just one thing or method. Sure get vaccinated, but what do you do when that first line of defense fails? How should we treat Covid early on? See, that's where this $hit show falls apart. My friend Rusty fully vacinated 4 months ago is now dead. We deserve better. While you all make of fun of the parasite drug approved for use for people as a possible antiviral drug, if your life is on the line and your doctor says take it and it could help,but won't hurt you , do you not give it a try?

What do you tell those people who got Covid and still had the vaccine? Where is your humanity here? I hated being isolated and away from my family. I didn't want to be there but I was and they were great. Why can't I show appreciation? I didn't get it in time, I am not antivax , I got sick and you better believe I am damn happy to be alive and thankful for the care I got. Why can't you just be happy a fellow Knight got it and is recovering ?

99% of the time when we have discussions about the vaccines, nobody is being defiant. It's all about stats and gathering information at this point.
That’s crazy. You get it as quickly as possible. I know of 2 people that died in January. 59 and 63. The vaccines simply were not available.

How was last winter in Florida with cases? It seems like there seems to be about a 6 month cycle in a lot of states, but they start and end a few months apart from region to region.
