**Hurricane Florence Watch**

Wonder what the over under would drop to if you played during an actual cat 1 hurricane?
How would UCF fast operate? Someone shared a link of who runs the most plays in a minute. UCF and North Carolina are in the Top 5. So we wouldnt be at that much of a disadvantage if our opponent is also the opposite of a ball control team.

I doubt UNC is going to go through the inconvenience of a neutral away game to please UCF when they would lose a home game. And there is the issue of their equipment truck. But my choice of the 'neutral site' game would be the Dolphins/Canes stadium. UNC plays in Miami's division so they are already familiar with the accommodations & there are plenty of last minute hotel rooms.

Any openings at Mercedes Benz Stadium?**
Falcons have their home opener against the Carolina Panthers sunday, but the crews there are used to a quick turnaround having had college games an Atlanta United match and falcons preseason game back to back to back

Why the need for a neutral site? I can understand them just wanting to cancel/reschedule this year, but if they want to go ahead and play why not just flip the home and away venues? Is Brighthouse Stadium booked for something else this weekend?

9 home games this year (including CCG)? I'll take it.

Hopefully I can get a refund. It’s non refundable. They need the room and can raise the price.

If you booked it with a credit card, you should check to see if it has trip cancellation coverage. Many travel cards include that as a basic benefit.

Well.....about to cancel my room in Durham and see if the tickets are refundable. I was holding out hope but this game does not look good. I will wait until tomorrow. I was really looking forward to crushing UNC. Thoughts out to those in the path, we have all been there, it sucks.

May as well make it Hawaii.

Even they're getting pelted with tropical storm this week.

How come California never does?
Another reason to join the PAC12. But seriously I’m glad this storm is weakening and hopefully not getting stalled over the Carolinas. That’s good news for homes, businesses, dams, nuclear power plants, wild animals, everyone.

bc the water temperature off the coast of California stays cooler. That's why West LA has cool breezes and low humidity
Yeah, the ocean current that runs the west coast is pretty cold. I was master dive qual'd when I was younger and dove off California a few times and you had to wear a pretty thick divesuit.

Just saw the Chapel Hill forecast for what would have been game time. Torrential rain 100% nonstop. Worse than our game vs Marshall.

No thanks. Would have sucked going all the way up there to sit in that misery to play an absolute bottom feeder ACC team

No second guessing!!!

the death toll in North/South Carolina is really a high for a borderline Cat 2.

I feel like these other States do not do a good job in handling these storms compared to Florida

Someone brought up some stats a few days ago. No one is dealing with hurricanes as much as Floridians. It makes sense.

Same thing with plains states and tornadoes...In OK, where I grew up, they have a very extensive warning system, and people take shelter. Very few deaths compared to states that don't that much experience with them.
