Bad idea guys. Don't disrupt government functions unless you want to get rounded up and arrested.

Will probably get trespass citations and go home. It's amazing the difference in punishment when you don't violently enter the chambers of Congress during a Presidential election certification.

They should just ban citizens from being in DC. Obviously the people can't be trusted to act rationally and legally.

Using Crazyhole's logic, they should just ban all guns in this country.

Obviously the people can't be trusted to act rationally and legally with them.

Yep. Only the government should have guns, and when that happens I hope the right comes into power and uses it to their advantage.

Either way, confiscate all of the guns and when the Trump cult gets back into power we can use that advantage to advance our agenda.
Remember how we got to this point. The whole 'confiscate all of the guns' argument was expanding on YOUR 'lockdown DC' logic.

100% yes. As soon as the right gets the senate, house, and presidency the first thing they should do is lockdown the country, confiscate all of the guns, and put in place the agenda they've been too feckless to push for in the past. The left isnt the only side that can use the authority of government to advance their agenda. I for one welcome that change in approach.

What is this totally grass roots movement by the people, funded by the Rockefellers, wearing “Green New Deal” shirts and joined by AOC?

This must be the true will of the people.

What is missing from your life that causes you to find your joy in violent delusions of the end of democracy? Seek help.

Seems to me like we would both be getting something out of the deal. You want to ban guns, so why would it be bad if it was the right in charge when we did that?

I didn't say everyone was violent. Very low IQ response. Sad.
Come again?
... It's amazing the difference in punishment when you don't violently enter the chambers of Congress during a Presidential election certification.
We have people on this board advocating everyone be charged in Jan 6th, even those who weren't even there, must less just entered ... unarmed, and didn't 'challenge' anyone, 'physically.'

Yet, 'physically' blocking the President et al. isn't 'violent' in comparison?

This is the hypocrisy many of us are pointing out. Low IQ? Seriously, actually debate, do not just label. That's Progressivism at its finest, and has worked very well for Communism as well.

Yeah, physically blocking the President isn't violent. Violently pushing your way into a certification of the Electoral College is violent.

Hope this helps.

You do realize how often this happens?
So, why didn't they arrest the people that knocked over Senator Rand Paul?

Oh, wait, that's right, it's because he's a Libertarian-Republican, not a Democrat,
And he actually introduced the bill they wanted to see before Congress (the irony!).

Seriously ... this is how hypocritical you lefties sound.
And remember, I am not a Republican!

I mean, this is how stupid all of you look!
Why isn't your party for this Bill?!

Too busy assaulting the guy who wrote it?!
Why? Oh, that's right, because he's a registered Republican.

In a tweet, Paul thanked the police for "literally saving our lives from a crazed mob" ,,, Paul is calling for an FBI investigation into the people who were in the crowd.
Often at odds with his party's leadership, Paul has long advocated for criminal justice reform legislation in the Senate. In June, he introduced a Senate bill to ban no-knock warrants called the "Justice for Breonna Taylor Act."

You don't sound very smart. Sorry.

You're everything that is wrong with this country.

At least NPR listed Paul as the sponsor of the Taylor Bill.
The Big 3, CNN and others did not ... kinda obvious why.

But I guess that makes NPR a right-wing outlet you'll avoid from now on, right?

Remember the 2020 daily riots? Terms like mostly peaceful. As cities burn...lol. politicians claiming for citizens to get confrontational. No worries.
The Rand Paul incident was just the ultimate hypocrisy in action. Instead of supporting Paul's Bill that neither the Democrats nor Republicans would support, they attacked him.
