There is a new norm and people who ignore it are fools. I make sure that the door is open whenever I’m working with a female employee and prefer to have another person there. I won’t do anything untoward but you never know what someone else will do and accusations ruin lives. In this day and age, the accusation can be made years later and it doesn’t matter. Can it be awkward? maybe. But a hell of a lot less awkward for me than losing my job and having to put my life back together over someone who has an ulterior motive.

It should be first noted that FC is a disingenuous little shit who completely misrepresented Pence's long standing position on this, which has everything to do with his norms shaped by being a devout Christian and NOTHING to do with "keeping his dick in his pants" as totally disingenuous FC claimed earlier.

There's always a risk in trying to have a real debate when framed around a fraudster like FC.

As for your actual debate, I would just refer to Chris Hardwick at AMC. He got accused with a wild accusation from a past girlfriend and before he could even defend himself, AMC had suspended him and prominent feminists and activists were demanding he be fired. AMC did an actual investigation and found that he was falsely accused by a loser ex girlfriend who wanted to ruin his career. So even despite being cleared, his name now still carries a stigma to some, simply because enough people were willing to jump on and belief the initial accusation without any further evidence or proof required.

This is #MeToo gone off the rails and it's happened a few times.
