with over 100 people on board its amazing that no deaths occurred. obviously alot of people have some major injuries, but its not often we hear of a plane crash and no deaths.

I showed this to my friend who is a pilot for American. He was in total shock this pilot even attempted to take off in that weather. Apparently the wind shear was so bad that it batted the plane down before it could really take off.

The thing that saved everyone is that the plane barely got off the ground, so it was more of a really hard landing than a higher altitude nosedive.
