Luckily Jones missed 3 out of 3 clear TDs.

MK's a freshman, and that is expected.
Jones? He wasn't a freshman, far from it!

I hope MK makes the type of KZ leap in '22.
If not, maybe we'll have another step-in.

Yes he missed but he didn't turn the ball over. Keene was blitzed and running for his life much like Milton his first season. As a freshman Keene has a chance to improve. If not he won't start. Personally I like taller qb's that weight at least 200 lbs. Spring training will tell us much about the qb competition.

Yep, that's what I've always liked about MK ... smart decision making.
KZ forced things and had plenty of INTs and fumbles his first year.

Again, we'll see if he makes a KZ-like jump in '22.

If I was a good judge of what makes a QB a great QB I would be making 6 or 7 figures as a QB coach . With that said, I look at Ridder and I am not overwhelmed by what a great QB he is. He doesn't wow me or have the it factor in my opinion. He is playing in the invitational and could beat Bama. Keene doesn't wow me ,he is not KZ 2017 . However, the kid has grown and he did ,along with his teammates , beat Florida. He seemed to play pretty cool, didn't get rattled and did what needed to be done . Yes the young man seems pedestrian as a QB but I am hopeful for UCFs future and I don't see us having a losing record with him at the helm as a sophomore. I am hopeful he has a great spring, studies the offensive game plan more and watches a ton of film . I predict the game slows down for him next season and I am hopeful many here will be singing his song this time next year.

I admit I haven’t been his biggest fan but the dude has already done more in his short tenure for UCF than Mr. Socko.
