Strange to see Chadwell left off, as I imagine he is the target (think we strike out on Sumrall).....except for Sanders and Riley, LOL
Why stop there, nick saban, mike mcdaniel, maybe even resurrect bobby bowdenI love that Terry reached out to Lincoln. I’d reach out to Ryan Day too. Lots of rumors he wants out of Columbus.
Complete silence (not even acknowledging publicly that Gus has left) is not standard operating procedure. He hasn't even put out the "Starting a national search" message. WVU's AD had a full press conference after they fired Neal Brown but nobody has seen Terry during any of this.I'm no fan of Mohajir, but what do you want him to say?
I'm guessing Mohajir's reasoning would be, "Well it was Gus' decision to leave, I didn't fire him." (Although I'm sure he was heavily involved in getting all the monetary details hatched out) He doesn't need to say anything about the search for the HC, he just needs to do it.Complete silence (not even acknowledging publicly that Gus has left) is not standard operating procedure. Personally, with the other open jobs and a few different candidates, I wouldn’t say a word to anybody. He’s got no responsibility but to hire the best person and I’m sure he’s talking with the people he needs to talk to get that job done. JMOI'm no fan of Mohajir, but what do you want him to say?
40 year fan here too!Been a UCF fan for 40 years now. For the most part UCF has put an exciting brand of football on the field and I would expect that from Frost. The past few years this team has almost been unbearable to watch on Saturday's. At this point for selfish reasons I want that excitement back. I'll chip in $5 to the Frost Fund if that helps.
I have a couple of years left to join the club (started in '86).40 year fan here too!
32 years so me too.I have a couple of years left to join the club (started in '86).
That would be crushing bad news....Tulane’s AD making a social media statement makes me think Sumrall might stay there
So yeah they're trying to keep him. This doesn't make me believe he's any more or less likely staying at Tulane.
Lincoln Riley talks sound like Mohajir is throwing random darts at a board. I imagine in these talks there is mention of Caleb Williams transferring to UCF too.I refuse to believe the Lincoln Riley talk, he is more likely to head to the Chicago Bears not UCF
So Lincoln Riley is our next head coach?
It’s just funny because every coach says the same things hours/days before they leave.Shocking the guy that has $110 million contract that he gets $90 million if he's fired is not looking to leave.
If he's leaving it's for the NFL where they can actually give him a raise. It’s just funny because every coach says the same things hours/days before they leave.
Nah that is going to be Joe Brady (who we should have contacted btw)I refuse to believe the Lincoln Riley talk, he is more likely to head to the Chicago Bears not UCF
Has Terry reached out to Nick Saban and Urban Meyer yet? I mean, if we’re going to start asking all sorts of coaches outside of our budget… we need to get a new coach for about $4-5 million per year. So what coach fits both the budget, play style, and brand for UCF?Lincoln Riley talks sound like Mohajir is throwing random darts at a board. FIU would be a good redemption gigEx-Nebraska coach Scott Frost shockingly emerges as UCF, FIU candidate
Former Nebraska head coach Scott Frost has emerged as a candidate for the Florida International and UCF openings.clutchpoints.com
Not when the Florida school is UCF, just they way it is. Their current 5 star QB is just one in a long line of examples. Money talks (or screams in college football 2024) and UCF doesn't have much.I think it’s easier to get a good one in Florida than Nebraska.
