New HC will be named SATURDAY Knight!!!

Facts is facts....this has happened to White.

I think we are scrambling since Chadwell said no, Sumrall has been tabbed by NC (and is holding them up for more money today) and Odom's candidacy fell off a cliff.

Jimbo Fisher anyone? Would you rather have him or Mullen?
I don’t think Odoms done. Give me a good OC with him and I have my radar up again

Is it possible that no one really wants the job at UCF and we think we are more attractive than we really are? Hard for me to really think that's true but I can't remember seeing anything like this search. Course at my age my memory is not quite what it use to be.
I don’t believe we are an unattractive position. The job has been open for one week. The top targets are coaching a CCG.

Personally, I want an up and coming OC or DC. I believe they are hungry, have that need to prove themselves, and relate well to alumni and players.

Then Stein is probably your number one choice.

If it’s Scott Frost I’m OK with that. Gotta fill the roster quick though hopefully he’s got some influence on the portal.

Well… I really don’t like the whole “getting back with your ex” thing. And I don’t like how he’s only had 1 winning season. But it’s certainly “exciting.”

Something tells me that this isn’t the move that Terry wanted to make. I think he started feeling the pressure from the donors and ultimately made this move to maximize funding and support

Name any coach anywhere that left for another program that didn’t distance themselves from their former program so that could focus on their current job.
Frost also said (slipped up) in an interview post being hired by NU that he believes any kid would love to go to UCF. He then quickly corrected himself and said they would also love to go to NU.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions and feelings about the Frost situation.

But he didn't leave UCF like Brian Kelly did Cincinnati in 2009 dude took everything and never looked back when he went to Notre Dame that team should've competed with Florida in that Sugar Bowl but was broken due to lack of preparation.

Can’t decide if some of y'all are against the hiring on a professional level or factor in personal indiscretions that have nothing to do with productbon the field. I mean didn't Arkansas rehire Bo Pelini years after he had a motorcycle crash with an Arkansas staffer that he was having an affair with that cost him a job the first time? And didn't Oleary get fired before coaching a game at Notre Dame for inaccuracies on his resume and has a statue now built at UCF?
Mike Norvell left Memphis in a heartbeat after he was hired by FSU as well. Didn’t coach them in their NY6 bowl game and they got destroyed.

Most of this century, UCF has had run-based coaches who insisted on run-pass option QBs who ran at least as well as they passed. Even Frost's Oregon offense ran half the plays. This season, it hit rock bottom, with Hudson's talents wasted once conference season began because none of the 4 QBs were accurate enough to give him even 50-50 balls to fight for.
He dropped a LOT of balls this year to be fair…

I think he did his due diligence. I do think Frost brings in more NIL money than anybody else. I’m excited. Charge on.

I certainly agree it wasn't the move Terry wanted to make and that is what took so long. If Frost had been his first choice he would have been here by now for recruitment.

The focus should always be the product on the field. In the end it’s the only thing that matters. It also drives everything else.

Danny didn’t hire his first choices either. Often the later choices are the right choices Charge on. Great job with the buyout and keeping the recruiting decent. I’m good with Frost n how TMo handled it

Frost was the coach that changed a lot of the appearance of our program. Coming from Oregon, he knew what would help bring in talented kids and I’m excited to see where he takes us next. Can’t wait to see the staff he builds around him, I hope it includes a few former players.

I hope he brings back the strength and conditioning coach he had here in 2017. We had relatively few injuries that season.

There’s a reason why UCF did not hire an outside firm for the coaching search. Frost was always the backup option and zero firms would vouch for a guy that had 5 straight losing seasons and off the issues.

Scott Frost had not been offered a coaching job anywhere…much less a head coaching job.

Lobocane, shouldn't you be on a Big 12 Iowa State pounding your chest how the canes are back and use your insider info and telling them they gonna lose?

They playing in Orlando. The Pop Tart Bowl.

He begged for a B12 opponent in CFP. He’ll Blame this loss on opt outs.

They did dumbass. Mohajir dropped the firm’s name several times in the press conference yesterday.
