    I hate christmas.​

    They moved in with their mom in january and things have been pretty difficult between us since then. Nobody, including my wife, has been terribly supportive of what I've been dealing with this year and I've been putting on a happy face whenever I'm asked how things are, however I cry and contemplate killing myself every day.

Actually, it may very much apply in Neil's case. He's immunocompromised. The science in his case does support some of that argument.

But mandating everyone else be vaccinated is not only destroying freedom ... It's not based on any science that shows any effective herd immunity being possible at all.

Quite the opposite ... we may be making things much worse for Neil ... by forcing it generally. That's what the US FDA experts were repeatedly warning against doing.

Reason and The Federalist are usually 2 of my 3 go-to Libertarian outlets ... lots and lots of civics experts and civil rights lawyers. At some point I think The Federalist Society will overtake the ACLU in contributions for civil rights donations.

I defended the ACLU for decades, including on the Boy Scout matter and other things.

But after Virginia happened, and the ACLU representative on-site reporting that Antifa started the violence (let alone greatly outnumbered the 'United the Right') ... the Progressives started yanking the funding, it was all over.

I think Canada is the ultimate example. Over 90% of truckers were vaccinated, and the majority have had SARS-CoV-2. So almost 99% of them are either vaccinated, recovered, or recovered + vaccinated. And they worked their butts off during the lockdowns.

That's why they finally got tired of being told what to do. Even the vaccinated truckers were pissed off. It's literally the ignorant running Canada at this point.

I haven't seen one study yet, outside of the US CDC, that shows anything for kids with SARS than 229E let alone OC43. In fact, just like the immunocompromise, it's not a CoV that is getting them ... but CoV + pneumonia or just pneumonia on its own, then a CoV shows up too.
