I don't think the Progressives realize the real gun lobby, the NSSF, is starting to unleash it's lawyers.
Right now businesses have banded together to not just violate the law, but instigate torts against various, small business and mom'n pop entities around firearms. The reason? Bankrupt them before they can get lawyers involved.
The latest is Intuit (Quickbooks et al.), who offers most of the services that small businesses utilize. A high ranking executive has ignored their accounting and legal, and basically just not only interrupt cashflow, but even refund sales for goods already shipped.
E.g., refunded 5 figures of sales for products already shipped, in the case of Gunsite Academy.
This is committing a tort, and intentionally, not just out of negligence.
I don't think the Progressives realize that they are engaged in everything from age discrimination -- 21 to buy a gun, in states where 18 is legal -- a civil rights violation to who should now be considered Joint Tortfeasors in attempting to bankrupt and destroying any entity remotely associated with firearms.
This is why it's not even about the Second Amendment any more, differences of opinion or even simple contract breakage.
