If we can’t make free throws that will be the game changer of making the tourney or not I believe... it’s killjn us
I love our team but feels unlikely to make the tourney. This is awful.
Aubrey has more NBA upside than BJ. But that graphic showed why BJ is still our best player. He scores. BJ defends. BJ is a complete player.

Are you sure? He's at best a Junior but it isn't completely clear. The main question is does Johnny survive if we miss the tourney with our 'best team ever?'
Agreed. Feels like we’ll be out of the AAC tourney in the second round though. Going to be a long 28 days in Feb.
Does anyone know why Myles Douglas doesn't play? Is he injured?
Are they red-shirting Dre Fuller?
I wasn’t I was a realist we were down 14 when I said this. Weren’t able to close it up and then fell behind by like 20.

This is his 5th year of college (already has graduated)...as he missed 2 years in a row (redshirt transfer from Michigan one year...and then hurt his shoulder/missed entire season last year)...and while he could comeback for a 6th year of college...he hates school...and wants to desperately start his pro career somewhere. Heck, he is almost 30 yrs old (ok...not that old but I think he is 24 yrs old...would be 25 if he came back for his 6th season...which is REALLY old for a Pro Basketball Rookie...especially in Europe where many start their pro careers as teenagers).
In 3 years of recruiting...Dawkins has had just one true Freshmen ever make it to the court...and that was Douglas...who averaged 2 pts per game on 29% shooting last year.
Dawkins doesn't focus on HS recruiting (unlike Penny Hardaway and ever other coach in the country) and would prefer to waste a scholarship on a player who has to sit out a year...and then have a few years to play.
That may be what we have to settle for in our situation. Memphis has had sustained success as a basketball winner. Have we ever been relevant? I think we are at least a decade behind football in building a successful model for both recruiting and winning.
He’s 23. Be 24 after the season ends. He’ll be 24 next year. Hex went to Prep School. That’s why he’s older. Probably should have gone JUCO if he hates school.
How does Tacko go from shooting 62 percent in his first season to 27 percent now? His hands being too big is stupid. They didn't grow from his first season.
