Army has 57 commits?
Air Force has 33
Navy has 27
(UAB has 30)

Seems like a lot of players for the academies. Are they allowed more commits for some strange reason. Something must be wrong with Rivals regarding Army. 33 seems way high as well. 30 seems high for UAB but since they disbanded and are rebootinb thier program they are probably getting some "relaxing" of some rules to help them out.

Any thoughts?

Don't all kids who go to the academies not pay anything in return for military service when they graduate? So no need for athletic scholarships?

Yes the academies are allowed to "recruit" more players than everyone else.

Appointments to the academies offer free schooling but graduates are required to serve for at least 5 years active duty plus 3 years of inactive ready duty.

Believe all graduates enter the military as commissioned officers (2nd Lieutenant)
