I don’t know who coined that term, but it’s almost a rubber stamped requirement for these notes anymore.
Anyone have a 247 subscription and can give Cliff notes??
New LB in portal:
KD Davis. 6'0 229 LB from UNT, 1 season of eligibility. Played safety in HS (dallas area).
Could maybe play the Knight. Played in 47 games (every game in his 4 years).

- Recorded a team-high 75 tackles (37 solo, 38 assisted), 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and three quarterback hurries while making nine appearances, all of which were starts
- Honorable Mention All-Conference USA selection
- Finished with a team-leading 88 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks four quarterback hurries, two fumble recoveries and a pass break-up while appearing in all 12 games and making 11 starts
- Had five tackles in 13 appearances, primarily on special teams during his first season in Denton

I guess you could call it TE by default but 9 out of 10 times he will line up off the ball. When I think TE I think 6’4 250 and lined up next to an OT. Randy is 6’2 230 or so.
Runny avocado mustache is a 5 star talent
He reminds me of the McCants guy from usf that went for like 1,000 yds against us in 2017.
Not sure if we have a shot but we made another Top 8. 4* who goes to the same high school that Johnny Richardson is from.
This reminds me of how much i loved the top 8 of myspace. It was subtle and passive aggressive way of telling your friends who were on your priority list versus those who ish the bed

This guy seems like a lock if our offer isn’t pulled. He lived in Oviedo most of his formidable years, cried when they gave the offer and his best football memory was going to Gameday and game of UCF vs Cincinnati. We are also his best football offer so far.

How many secret commits did we have last December? Could be a repeat of 15 commits with many last minute/secret?
I’ve heard DeeJay himself say he isn’t committing until December. Things could certainly change though. 🤞
LB position has been a roller coaster no doubt. Other than Tatum, we didn’t lose any that would have been major contributors this season in my mind or any that we need for Big12 play. I’m super optimistic about Jennings and Lewis, along with JJB and some of the other hybrid guys, this could be a really good, fast and violent group.
We're in the business of winning games and becoming a top football program.
He would have to sit one year anyway I'm pretty sure.
