Rising Covid cases

Yet another hoax by those crazy pro-vaxxers. If a boil water notice is issued I encourage all anti-vaxxers to ignore it and prove these people to be fakes.

I won't lie this one is hard to wrap my head around the logic about the water situation. Seems like a stretch to associate water issues with COVID even with the explanation given.

That being said those that either think COVID won't impact them or believe the vaccine is more detrimental will in all likelihood be the ones that lose out in the end. Either eventually forced to be vaccinated for work, travel, leisure or deal with possible health/financial consequences.

OUC uses liquid oxygen to make ozone. They use ozone to break organic matter in the raw water and to disinfect it. Their supplier probably is telling them that they won’t get a delivery in the next 2 weeks.
They still use chlorine after ozone as a back-up so they may have to rely solely on chlorine for a while. The switch may be what triggers the boil water notice

This is pretty close. My understanding is that they are diverting about 40-50% of their liquid oxygen supply to the hospitals. This reduces how much ozone they can make which will reduce the amount of water they can treat and send out. That is why they have asked people to use less water. Since they ultimately don't have control over how much water people use, if people don't curb their use and more water is used than they can treat, water pressure will go down. Once water pressure drops below 20 psi, a boil water notice is required.

Makes sense anecdotally. First time around in 2020 I knew no one who actually got covid (just saw some peoples family on social media)

This time around a bunch of my family got it and lots of deaths amongst parents or spouses of people I know very well. It went from being 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon to basically your best friends parents dying from it.
